Only five responses to this poll so far. With all the discussions about these tires I would think there would be more interest in this poll. Members have been all over the place on the treadwear of these tires, from needing replacing at 5,000 miles to they have 50,000 miles on them and still...
The answer is yes and yes.
The OEM Continental tires are not a great tire and wear fast. However, they shouldn't need replacing at 4561 miles. On FWD vehicles the front tires do all the work, so the front tires wear fast. It doesn't help if you have a lead foot and peel out. My FWD Maverick...
What is your oil life remaining percentage on your Ford App? You are asking a question that has no definitive answer. Personally, I have the oil changed when the oil life remaining is in the lower 30% range.
My understanding is the only change to the Maverick EB is the addition of the new gasoline particulate filter. It is interesting that Ford's 2025 literature still shows the 250 horsepower for the Escape 2.0L EcoBoost.

IMO the XLT is the best value and has some nice features not on the XL. Unless you live in deep snow country with no plowed roads the FWD does just fine. FWD is $2,200 cheaper, has less maintenance, and gets better mpg.
The Maverick only comes with the lane-keeping aid which does have the ping effect. It doesn't keep you centered in the lane as it only steers you back into the lane once you approach the painted line. There is another feature called lane-centering which unfortunately is only available with the...
Potential issues would likely be related to the areas that have been updated.

First off, I have 400-amp service. An EV wouldn't be able power my heat pumps, well, electric water heater, electric range, electric dryer, etc. That is what my Generac is for, and it will run continuously for 3 weeks or more before my propane tank needs to be refilled. And it is 100%...
Is SiriusXM included with Sync 4? I saw no mention of this on the Ford build website. The Escape shows SiriusXM as standard, and the Escape appears to use the same Sync 4 & 13.2" SCRN as the Maverick.
Thank you but this doesn't answer my question.
My question is how Ford prioritizes what dealership gets their existing assigned allocations scheduled. For example, there might be 1000 dealerships all with one or more unused allocations. What criteria does Ford use to select one dealership...
I couldn't help but notice that Long McArthur Ford was the dealership on several of these scheduled orders. Assuming all things being equal (order is identically equipped from Mutiple dealerships) how does Ford determine what dealership gets their orders filled first? Is there a pecking order...
Not exactly an apples-to-apples comparison since the Escape has different size tires, smaller engine, etc. I got about 20,000 on my 22 EB FWD. It might be interesting to do a survey since there are many complaints about these tires as far as tread wear.
So, you have about 36,000 miles on the factory continental tires. That is unusual because most Maverick owners are getting 20,000 - 25,000 on them. I'm curious how you determined these tires still have 20,000 miles left on them.
What I don't understand is how can the standard tires for the XL & XLT be exhausted, (225/65R17 102H All-Season). These are the same Continental tires that are on the current 2024. Something doesn't add up.
