I cut some matte black for my first round of tailgate letters.

Mine wore off this week after the 5 1/2 hours trying to download the firmware update to only get stuck at 90 some present. If this is the way modern vehicles are going to be and need updates all the time I will just wait for my new engine rebuilt on the Volkswagen.

Looks good! I ordered some last week and can’t wait to switch them out! I still wish the XL has used the top portion of the light assembly too. Or had an easy way to retrofit something in the top half.

Finally had time to draw up the lettering and cut my tailgate letters. Just used matte black vinyl.

I have seen some plastic dip their emblems… I plan on making my own emblem cover ups with vinyl. I have my own sign business and have plenty of options. Was going to print them but I just might cover them with the matte black vinyl.

I finally had time to draw the file and cut mine today. I used matte black to go along with my other XL trim. Going to black out the Ford Ovals too when it warms up.

Following… My XL has power mirrors since it has the 360, but I do miss the heated mirrors though.

Yes I did, it was easy to install and hind sight I should have filed down the sharp edge but I was pressed for time as it was cold and I was at work. Did not want to explain to the BC why the fire engine was outside and my truck was in the bay.

It‘s the Lund Aeroskin II that is on the Ford Accessories page. Sorry I don’t have the link, I searched and it didn’t come up. I guess it’s like all the other Mav accessories, not available.

Here is my textured one, yes the hood shakes a little but I am ok with it. Most of my driving is at night so I don’t see the shake. 😂. Really like how it matches the texture and look of the XL grille. Maybe I should buy another one to have for when this one needs replaced if they end up...

How much they stick out? Got a pic of the front view?
