Thanks for the number. I've been borrowing my in-laws extra vehicle for a month or so since I got rid of my Jeep. But that was never meant to be long term, as I've had the built status for a month now.
My biggest fear is that it happens again come December. I can't keep playing this waiting...
Man, I HATE to hear that, but it's got to be that if it's not a bigger quality problem, right? I'll 100% be contacting Ford to try and get some answers today.
I've been watching this forum pretty religiously in anticipation of my truck arriving. I've mostly been trying to be on the lookout for quality issues that multiple people are reporting, but it's seemed generally pretty positive.
My truck shipped 10/9, and was scheduled to arrive today. My...
Mine shipped 10/9, supposedly, with a delivery window of 10/31-11/06. Last I heard was last week when I reached out to my dealer hoping he knew more than me - he didn't. Dealer anticipated a delivery of 11/06, but that's tomorrow now and I'll be shocked if it comes in.
I'm in Southern Indiana...
I'm curious what the insurance guys come back with. I wonder the extent of the damage (it shouldn't be THAT bad if he really was just romping around in the neighbor's yard), and I'm curious about how long the wait will be to get replacement parts, if that's the route you end up going.
also is...
Yeah there's nothing new here in terms of content, but it's a nice presentation. Ford needs to get these trucks off the line and on the roads. They have such potential if only they were available!!
I appreciate all the trepidation in answering this - nice to know others around here are equally or even more inclined than me to believe that big data is a problem. As I've answered this elsewhere on this forum and have nothing to lose, I'm a 30 year old land surveyor (BS in Environmental...
Indiana, $43.07/mo as spelled out in the attached photo. I'm hopeful that it may change a bit once I actually have the vehicle, though.
Also wondering what that dude in Jeffersonville who totaled his already had on his...
Mine was estimated to arrive on Sunday, but was just shifted back a week for some reason while in transit. It's shipping by rail, and I haven't gotten the info on ramp and car number from my dealer to see where it's at.
I finally saw my first real-world Mav this weekend on the highway outside of Chicago, and definitely did some Chicago-type driving maneuvers to get to a better spot to see it from. Unfortunately it was a black XL with ridiculous wide tires, so basically looked nothing like mine will, but it was...
Yeah that's been a hot topic this afternoon. Sounds like hybrid folks who aren't scheduled yet should pretty much plan to get that same email.
If you're going to be in need of something new before next year, that $50 accessory pack probably doesn't sweeten the deal much...
I'm a land surveyor. This truck will be spending a lot of time on the shoulder trying not to get rear-ended, so I'm going to get and install some strobes (front and back, ideally). Having never owned a truck or tried to do this, anyone here have recommendations on brands or systems to use or...
I think it may be safe to say that hybrids with a low VIN will be built around the same time as Ecos with much higher VINs, just due to the restrictions on Hybrids from the Ford side of things.
Nice to hear yours was built! Congrats
Mine shipped on the 9th and the dealer said today that it's looking like arrival in Indy on the 31st.
I wouldn't complain if it showed up sooner than that, though.
Three Mavs just arrived moments ago at Skillman Ford on US 31 in Franklin (1250 US-31, Greenwood, IN 46143). I just happened to be on the phone with them when they got in.
Not sure if they're dealer stock or retails, and the guy said to ask for Josh to see them, but have at it, people!!
