Yes - get a guarantee…ideally they would have agreed that by you doing a deposit a)They would sell you the configured 2023 at MSRP (whatever that will be) b)The would not charge any additional dealer fees or add on Fees.
If you find yourself with a non-refundable deposit on a truck the dealer...
yes you should be concerned. Maybe they are being honest…but on this forum you will find case after case of similar scenarios as yours for 2022 that end up with a)No Maverick ordered by dealer b)no refund of deposit
Unless I have a signed buyers order guaranteeing a price, options, etc. from...
rokBlokz mud flaps (no scratches from stones thrown on doors and fenders), Truxedo Tonneau - Sentry CT, Hood Protector (Lund Smoke low profile), DeeZee Tailgate piston. Probably do the Hood for the same reasons listed…just want to take some time and make sure no one is reporting it torqueing...
So we were in a similar place - our 2017 Ridgeline Black had less than 50K miles. You should do what we we did - go online, get valuations and then get Carvana, Autonation, etc. to give you a value. The valuations were all over the place, with KBB being the lowest/most inaccurate. We then...
First this is not a convertible - my S2000 is a convertible I want the top down 100% - the Maverick is not this. BUT - we had a Honda Ridgeline with a moonroof we never opened. Black Edition so the entire interior was dark and while moonroof opened it up…really did not feel as open as the...
Yes just went and measured - they are 18.5 Inches. The height to the top is 20.5 inches from the bottom of the DIBL “furrow”. The top of ”furrow” for DIBL is roughly 3/4” higher Or 19.75 inches to the top.
Plenty Of space. I also pressed the cross bars just a bit narrower and now no contact...
we are due for a tropical storm this weekend in Florida so will let you know. I think the seal is pretty good as long as rubber remains pliable (treat with 303). I will so almost every review I read and viewed said it was actually very weather tight - but like you want to see it for myself...
Yes - super easy. Front of rail has two small holes that the cover rollup bundle fits in, then you have a heavy duty slider you push to secure to the rail. to take off you rollup, unlock the slider by pulling it toward center on both sides then lift off. Probably a 2 minute exercise to remove.
Yup. Nothing bad happens - you simply compress the rubber flap that should be on top. But to get it sealed from the weather - close the gate, then latch down the last bit. Not a big deal for us - the trade-off in convenience to get a nice ”close” to weather-tight seal is a fair trade for us.
Added Sentry CT Tonneau. Great fit (have a separate thread on that) - but the extender fits fine. Plenty of height on cover to not contact the top of extender, and width is probably 1/64” too wide but still opens and closes scraping the rails. Will get out mallet and adjust this evening to...
Received the Tonneau cover today and installed in about 20 minutes with my son’s help. Fast shipping from Real Truck - ordered Friday and arrived at the house around noon today. 75 lbs total for all parts and packaged quite well. Overall a very happy owner and wife loves it - updated the...
Have not driven the Hybrid but my wife and were discussing this yesterday comparing Mav ECO to our old Honda Ridgeline. Ridgeline was (is) a fantastic ride but more body roll and does not have the instant / low end power - you had to punch it into VTEC and power comes on with higher revs.
The...
Mid-Size. As noted, you basically adjust it as small as you can and it will fit just a small bit of tension. That is why I used a rubber mallet to drive in the straight adjusting pipes - fit is effectively perfect. Should have noted in original post - will add that
just clean holes no thread. You will need a small flat head bolt, fender washer and lock nut - kit came with stainless sheet metal screws which I would NOT use. Secure with bolts from your local hardware store
I live on a saltwater canal and 1 mile from the beach. We wake up on a wind out of the East with salt and sand on the house and cars. Yeah primer will be going on the bare metal - my guess is that is where they held the body shell. Still BS.
For $179 on Amazon (Link—>Universal Bed Extender purchased the mid-size version), this fits very nice and I like it better than the stock extender. Has more space but still plenty solid, very light and looks to be short enough to fit a top (we have the Truxedo Sentry CT I am installing next...
BTW - per Real Truck the Sentry CT does have a 5 year warranty. We pulled the trigger and purchased this - will get here next week. It really does seem to be a nice cover - you just have to latch it after the tailgate is up (can’t closed the tailgate and get a good seal with the top latched...
