I got the same story in early February. See a VIN in a couple weeks. Called last week got 100 dollars and a request to have my dealership call their regional to push my order up the chain. I would not hold my breath.

I must say I agree with you on them being helpful when I called as well. I also have determined that they are the best at giving terrible news. I mean I honestly end the call with hope and get my soul crushed next scheduling day.
