Identical bike to mine! I use a Saris bike rack. Very easy on and off. Holds bike stable without any part touching the frame.

I have an Alto Blue built in Sept 2022. Over 9k miles. One small chip on right front fender. Highway and city driving. Chip looks nothing like yours. Paint on this chip did not flake as yours did. Actually, chip is hard to see unless I look for it.

Don't like the suv look of the Santa Cruz. At least the Ridgeline and the Maverick look like a truck. Also, I don't consider the Ridgeline and Maverick competitors, as the Ridgeline is a midsize, and the Maverick is a compact.
1971 SAAB 96. Although considered ugly, it was the toughest, most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Steel on it was very thick, unlike thin steeled vehicles now produced.
And if you don't like that they are narrower, you can send them back. I had the oem's, but they are ridiculously long. I returned them, and have these on now. Not 100% thrilled, but way better than oem.
