I got this one:
Rexing V1P Flex X4 4K WiFi Dual Dash Cam Black BBY-V1PFLEX-X4 - Best Buy
It's on sale right now. I've purchased 3 of them so far. A previous one I had wasn't as nice. There are certainly ones with more features, but this one can be accessed via a phone app, or of course...
I haven't noticed it at all on my 2025 and have been paying attention because of these threads. My morning routine is to back out of my garage, go down the driveway with electric, pull onto the highway in front of my house, start down the hill and the engine kicks on. I go 0.4 miles to the...
I bought a Lariat Mav because I wanted all the features you mentioned, plus some. I'm right at 6' and 175 pounds and it is very comfortable for me, but that's an individual thing. I also get a spray-in bedliner in my trucks, and want extra tie-downs and at least basic lighting in the bed and...
Wow, you came out of that pretty well. Those situations are pretty scary, because it's bad enough you hit someone/something but you had a truck behind you.
I got front and rear cameras, but the front is better image quality. I've watched some videos on YouTube and most of them suggest that the image quality is similar on all the cameras they tested so I bought one that fits on the windshield nicely and came with a hardwire kit.
I haven't even had my Maverick 2 weeks yet, and the crazies are trying to screw it up. I have the only perfect Maverick ever made (blue, BAP, Lariat hybrid) so I don't want to have to replace it. This was on a two-lane road this evening and I was going at least the speed limit. Nobody is...
I built one back in the 90's and recognize the 385 series engines anyway. I can remember all that but don't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday.
Light duty trucks are classified as class 1-3 trucks. Class 2A trucks are typically called "light duty", while class 2B trucks are often called "light heavy duty".
Medium duty trucks are classified as class 4-6 trucks.
Heavy duty trucks are classified as class 7-8 trucks.
Yep. It's an M14 stud, same as an F150. Bolts/studs require enough torque to actually elastically stretch them a little bit in order for them to stay tight. The bigger the stud, the more torque (in general).
They are torqued to 150 ft-lbs, so yeah, they will be tough to remove, especially with arthritic hands. I pulled a wheel off my new Mav to check the fitment of my winter wheels and the 1/2" ratchet wrench was too much of an effort, so I got my breaker bar out.
It does work. I find it annoying. I actually watch what's going on around me as I'm driving and anticipate what others will do and what I will do. I already have a plan for the car passing me and me passing the car in front of me without the truck doing its own thing. I'm all about new tech...
I knew I had to act fast when I bought mine this week. They cleared the recall on it last Thursday and I beat this one, so that's good. I have OTA updates enabled and scheduled, so hopefully that's all there is to it.
My 22 F150 had a trailer brake control recall shortly after I bought it...
Thanks! Unfortunately it is dirty now from driving through the slop on the roads after the snow. Hopefully in the next couple weeks I get some chance to clean it.
It's my first blue vehicle, and it's a great color.
I'll look at that. Hadn't heard of that. I did make sure that I set the application to only use location data when the app is in use, but one thing I found online was someone said that didn't work correctly and to allow it all the time. So a couple things to try I suppose.
It's the Waze...
Thanks, I'll check them out. I have found two styles of manuals. The one like in the app is worthless. There is another more comprehensive manual out there in .pdf.
