I was the only hybrid order at my small town dealer. I waited a year and a half, watching many posts here of my exact build get delivered that were ordered way after mine. My little home town dealer (and me) got screwed by Fords allocation system that benefitted large dealers with hundreds of...
A small dealership will only have a handful of orders. All orders should be COVP to weed out the dealer spamming the order banks. Dealers that game the system by creating fake orders get punished. I wouldn't do the "reduced allocations" that Ford threatened, as that also punishes the clueless...
That's not even what they said. They said they had no plan to offer any transition offer (Private offer).
Here is the exact quote:
"**23MY to MY24: Please note there is no intention of providing a MY Transition offer for those customers who do not get there 23MY Maverick retail order built...
Insurance rates are going up across the board. I just got my house insurance renewal notice and it went up ~20%. I expect the vehicle (it comes in a few days) renewal to be similar. Welcome to inflation.
More likely a staging area to transition from rail to rail, or rail to truck. But if you're in Seattle, I would be concerned that your truck was routed through Missouri, which is the transfer point for destinations further east.
The 5.5% interest rate really isn't all that bad in today's market. Everyone is freaking over it because interest rates have been artificially low for so long, but this is actually more the norm. Worse case, you take the loan, and pay it off immediately. Tell them you'll do the loan if the cut...
Here in Illinois, it's called a "Document Fee" and is capped at $303 and a few pennies, with an annual increase tied to inflation. $995 is a bit on the high side, but not uncommon in some states, including Florida. You may be able to negotiate a lower amount, but it's not going away...
The 12v, yes. The High Voltage, no. 2 months isn't really that long. Just make sure the 12v is fully charged before leaving, and invest in a power pack. If it will be parked near an outlet, get a battery tender.
Your dealer was not notified about your specific order, but they were notified that *all* orders with a 12/19/22 build week were really being rolled over to 2023. The 12/19 date was just a holding pattern until Ford figured out the process to create the 2023 order. Your dealer knew this and...
All you have to do is pay attention on these forums to know orders are being filled. Much of the wait depends on your orders specific constraints and dealer allocations. Why Ford chose to go back to the allocation sweepstakes for customer RETAIL orders still baffles me. They should be FIFO to...
Actually, many have reported getting a check either directly from Ford, or from their dealer roughly 6 weeks later. I suspect the dealers that are doing things this way are in a financial bind, and can't afford to have even a few thousand dollars hanging in the wind waiting on the 6 week...
Did you have a my2022 that rolled over to my2023? If so, that is the certificate (Otherwise known as a Private Offer).
Based on your 2022 order regardless of what your 2023 roll-over became, $2750 for hybrid, $1750 for Ecoboost.
No, that's not what I'm talking about. Every vehicle I have ever owned with Cruise Control had the buttons on the right side and the cluster controls on the left. Ford has that reversed.
