Perhaps he took the truck to a dealer, the loaner car they gave him is a convertible, he put the top down, drove home, got out, locked the doors, realized that he left the keys in the ignition, and can't get to them. It COULD happen.

I paid $36k and change OTD for my 2023 Lariat with all the toys except sunroof. The closest I could come today would be over $42k for a 2025. For a Ford!! When I get tired of my Ford toy, it will be back to Toyota.
