I feel this is a little much for an automatic car wash. Since I'm in the vehicle, why not just allow me to put it neutral instead of having to use the steps in the manual. Now if I had the door open or something I can understand. As the Mike's car wash I like to go to, (never had any issues from...
From what I gathered from Tim when we last spoke, (my sales guy), he said he has about 20 other mavericks in processing. I wonder if they are considered a larger dealership or not.
I wonder, let's say I find a salvage lariat lux with sync 3 in the future. How difficult it would be just to swap out what's needed on my invisible XLT lux/4K to get the sync 3 from the Lariat lux? I'm cool with a wired connection so no issues there.
A friend of mine who knows I ordered a Maverick sent me this link. If anyone needs it now and doesn't mind paying a bit extra for one. Here ya go.

Are you talking about the compartment where you can place your phone for wireless charging? If so, the wireless charging option is only available on the Lariat trim.
I'm not in a hurry to get mine or anything. If Ford is up to the idea, just send it to me in a huge IKEA box with some instructions and I'll assemble it myself lol
Nice! I ordered my XLT (still in processing) on October 27th from Germain. Tim is the guy I went through. Congrats on picking up your new ride and thanks for sharing your experience. Only thing I'm worried about is if they will try to change things up price wise once mine is built.
Northern Cincinnati here. Ordered a Velocity blue 2.0l with 4k tow and lux package at the end of October. Hoping to see it around spring so I can treat it with fluid film.
Good point. I did order mine with the 4k tow. Normal mode would be a good idea. If I remember right, the sport and eco modes were swapped out for mud/ruts and sand modes on the fx4 package. Or is there simply not a actual sport mode to use? Thanks for the info.
Nice! Looking forward to seeing the dyno numbers once the tuning is completed. My concern that I can't seam to find a answer to, is if the trans will handle the power. I hear Ford installed the 8F35 in the Maverick. Which we know on paper that the 2.0l produces more torque than what the trans is...
Just stumbled accross this thread. I've done a little digging and found out that Ford also has a newer 8F40 trans as well that I'm sure is rated higher than what the 2.0L delivers. It's used in the 2021 Lincoln Corsair that has the 2.3L EB in it from what I dug around online.
