For me it often depends on location. Where I live in the suburbs the gas is about 20-35 cents/gallon higher than at either Sam's or Costco about 15 minutes away. Saving $5 or $6 per tank of gas quickly makes up for the membership cost.
Also, Costco is top-tier gas and Sam's is not, I believe...
I'm getting excited....seen a few Lariat Lux configs with sunroof from July and early August that got scheduled this week....maybe one more week for me? Or two, or three or four....
My build is in my sig line. I started out with an XLT and then changed my order to the Lariat because I wanted the push-button start. Then I ended up adding the lux package after driving my daughter's Corolla with adaptive cruise control, which costs me the price of the lux package and the...
I wish we'd start a "comment thread" for the weekly builds and keep the notification thread for JUST notification info....going through pages and pages of posts to find a handful of actual notifications is...uuggghhh. (And yes, I'm contributing to the problem with this comment.)
If price wasn't a consideration, then it would be a much tougher choice. I'd probably lean towards the Ridgeline because I loved my '06 Ridgeline, but unless the Mav ends up with poor reliability I'm probably going to love the hybrid's MPG enough to offset things. My Ridgeline served as a...
Saw my first Maverick in the wild on Friday afternoon (1/28) in NE Memphis, TN. All I could tell was that it was a white one as it was turning off the road I was on and away from me so I didn't get to identify any more specifics.
So if I have ordered a Lariat Lux, which requires the CoPilot360 and comes with spray-in bedliner, then doesn't that mean the only constraint in this list that concerns me is the one regarding Lariats/Lux (12%) and not the ones for the SIB and C360? The SIB and C-360 constraints apply those...
Well, that was a fortuitious boo-boo on my part. This will come in handy when the wife and I head to Europe in a few months. I'll be able to compute a quick rought estimate of the temp "on the fly" instead of getting out the "pocket computer that makes phone calls".
Of course, since we'll be...
"Discontinued" sounds like no more will be made. I think we're talking either they are not taking any more orders or production is temporarily halted/slowed-down due to supply issues.
Keep driving my '97 Camry, and honestly, if Ford would offer some incentive to bump my Aug 2021 Maverick Lariat hybrid order to MY23, I might take them up on it. The biggest risk would be if my Camry got wrecked in the meantime, we'd have to juggle live with one vehicle for a number of...
If the Maverick were to be made in America, I'm sure it would be priced higher and I seriously doubt they could offer the based model for $19.9k without taking a bigger hit on the margins. Yes, Honda makes the Ridgeline here. When I bought my 2006 edition, I was amused to find the government...
They could certainly make it at an idled Ford plant here - but it's all but certain it would be impossible to maintain the lower price points as is. No amount of flag waving or political rhetoric can overrule basic laws of Economics.
Unfortunately, the vast number of politicians, union...
I'd love to know what the internal Ford order estimates were for the Maverick. I'd read in the past that the Big 3 had shied away from wanting to produce smaller trucks because they didn't want to take away from their cash-cow big, bloated, overpriced full-size options.
I know if the Maverick...
This seems to be the general consensus from what I've read and seen. While driving a couple of months ago I saw a HPR Ranger in bright sunlight and it had a strong red color with a hint of orange. However, almost everything from pics to comments indicates the orange tint stands out much more in...
