    13 mpg, that’s what I average with my pre-runner Tacoma(Believe it was a few years older than yours )hauling a 6500 pound boat!! 23 Highway mpg was the best I could achieve. Pre-runner is 2WD so that helps..

    I wouldn’t describe the on board mileage computer as definitive empirical data … I really don’t think it’s fair to say, or decisively accurate your mpg is low… if you haven’t done a few trips will you go by hand calculations and gallons displaced during trip!!

    Interesting, i’m 6’5ā€ 36 inseam, sat in an XL, still a few inches above my head, salesman was 6 ft2, someone about 6 feet could fit behind me. I sit in the backseat someone under 6 feet can definitely fit in front of me ..May not work if you have huge femurs 🦓

    I’m 6’5ā€ sat in XL without a sunroof did not drive. Still extra headroom.I’m 36ā€inseam Even proportions, I thought I would fit in the truck if I was 6’8ā€..

    Generally yes. However, starting from a standstill accelerating going uphill straight all wheel drive might be a little better getting you started or maintaining momentum .

    Looking at the preponderance of owner mileage feedback, it seems if ur on a flat highway going low 70s,mph,30 MPGā€˜s is realistic. Try adding 8 psi. On next trip if not raining &low traffic. 2your point of diesel TDIā€˜s,owned 2Jetti TDI, 57mpg@80mph quiet&refined engine. Diesels R 20-30%generally...

    try not to press harder going uphill,don’t worry about the vehicle dropping to 60 miles an hour uphill..

    maintaining a consistent speed(better off not using cruise control if you’re going up and down hills)your mileage should keep improving down to about 50 mph..
