Thanks guys. Wire transfer is most likely the way I'd go. NO "cashiers checks", they can be fake. I will pay MO. sales tax and apply for title (can't jump title), Dept of Rev says title usually back in my name in a week. After I sell I will then buy a new Escape. In MO. if you pay sales...
I know I can make something on it.... someone would be willing to pay at minimum a $1000 over what it cost me I'm sure. I'm willing to bet even the dealer would give me that much off (most likely more) another purchase if I told them I was going to sell it then buy from them rather than let...
In Missouri, if you buy a vehicle, title and pay the tax and sell it then you have 180 days to apply for a tax refund on that vehicle if you buy another and title and pay the tax on the new one. Works the same on used vehicles. So, if you buy a vehicle, sell it and buy another with in 180...
FYI, my HYBRID XL with Co-Pilot360, Trailer Hitch Receiver and factory Spray in Bed Liner ordered on July 23rd, was built on 02/26 and shipped 02/28. Original build date was week of 02/07 changed to week of 02/21. Dealer called to let me know of the build week change, built and shipped before...
Take it to the dealership body shop only! Preferably the dealer you bought it from. Don't try to make money, just get it fixed right. One thing to think about, with insurance involved it will show up on a "Carfax" as being wrecked. Won't matter as much if you keep it 10 years or more, but if...
Truck is being sold to me at invoice, just a few hundred dollars under Window Sticker (on a base XL model there is very little between invoice and sticker, I know dealer does get more from Ford.) I'm Interested in finding what anyone has Paid for a comparable truck, give me a better idea of...
All valid things to consider. I can get a refund on the Sales tax when I purchase the Escape and pay the tax on it. Financing for a buyer on a used vehicle is something they will have to consider. I know I should be able to get more for it than I paid, just don't know what to expect. Based...
I am not a dealer, do not work at a dealer or have any dealership affiliation at all. I ordered a Maverick on July 23, 2022
I have a HYBRID XL built (on 02/26) and shipped (02/28) with an expected arrival date of 03/20 to 03/26. I have decided to sell it after I title it (have to and Missouri...
Interesting, I ordered July 23; In Dec got email with original expected build week 02/07, late January email changed build to week of 02/21, on 02/16 saw in the "Track my Order"; "In Production". No email about in production or since. Mine is XL, Hybrid, Co-Pilot360, SIBL, Hitch, priority...
Most agree full electric is great for shorter commutes like in big cities, however think a minute, envision large city communities that have street parking only, where and how will these vehicles be charged? Low income people have enough of a problem paying the electric bill as is, add daily...
My XL Hybrid was scheduled to be built week of 02/21 (changed from week of 02/07), showed up today 02/18 as now "in production".... and with window sticker available, so go figure.
Not having a blonde super sexy attractive female included with every sale.... but then again as the saying goes.... "some one, some where thinks she's a bit--". So on second thoughts... Maverick is just fine as ordered!
Checked today and now shows "in production".... window sticker is available.
Hybrid, XL, Co-Pilot360, SIBL, Hitch.. that's all. Ordered 07/23/21, original build date week of 02/07 changed to week of 02/21.
I've seen a lot of reports of how hard it is to see out back with the small rear view mirror, having just returned from a trip and renting a new Kia Sorento and a Chevy Trax let me say the Maverick can't be any worse than either of those rentals. No matter how big the mirror is, the rear seat...
Hybrid XL, SIBL, Co pilot360, hitch, ordered on July 23, email Dec 19 with production date week of 02/07, two weeks before got email changing to week of 02/21. Nothing different yet, not in production or change of new build week. We'll see if next week is the time for it.
So in reality, getting a "build date" means very little, getting the "finished" email is what we should all be waiting/looking for. Then when the dealer calls to say "ready for pick up" is what counts.
Let's just say we get a build date and it does get built, does that actually mean it's built completely or built but could be parked and waiting for say a chip (or whatever) to complete the build? Other words, does getting a your vehicle is built noticed indicate it's ready for shipping which...
Same order here, XL Hybrid, SIBL, Copilot and hitch. Ordered on 07/23, got email December 9th with build date of 2/07 and VIN, last week got email with change to 2/21. Many Hybrids are having several months delay in changed/delayed build date, I'm thinking maybe the less options will get built...
