When you remove the airbag, that removes the center cover of the steering wheel right?

Any chance you could share the step by step details? I did a search but this has been discussed so much it's hard to find the exact posts. I am interested but would need very specific steps, parts, etc before I'd even consider it. I'd be grateful for your assistance.

Actually I'm not sure I'll get one. There are lots of options, they are just more expensive then the one Ford offered.

I am not into self installing anything. In my estimation the cost of a steering wheel plus finding a business to do the installation and programming is problematic. I'd prefer the steering wheel/ForSCAN option, but don't need the additional headaches. Pretty sure there is also a dash button...

Grew up eastern Iowa, now live in central Iowa. Ordered from DeYarman Ford in Indianola on July 28. Unloaded from rail in KC on March 16. In the delivery window now so hope to see it any day

Have the dealer call Ford on speaker phone with you present. If they won't do that, it seems pretty telling.

I had the same experience but when I try to view the Window Sticker, it tells me the sticker not ready yet.

My date was changed from 2/14 to 2/21. Ordered 7/27/21. I received the e-mail on Jan 29 at 9:07 PM. XL, Co-Pilot 360.

I was told very early (late July) that I'd be smart to remove the trailer hitch from my order. I did. My XL Hybrid is currently scheduled for production the week of Feb 14.

Thanks Bill. One more question. Are both standard cruise control and standard cruise control with voluntary speed-limiting available for the hybrid?

We have a 2009 Toyota Prius that was bought new when gas was over $4/gal. It now has 183,000 miles on it and we're still running on the original hybrid battery. Toyota has always been sort of the hybrid gold standard, but it was this experience that helped make it easier to order the Maverick XL...

When I take delivery of my hybrid XL I'll be 63. I retired at 60.
