The screws I used did not have different thread part way, but they did have a security pin in the middle of the head. I got them at a department store. Maybe if enough complain Deezee will put a replacement screw with the kit. hahaha
NOTE TO DEEZEE THESE SCREWS ARE WHAT FORD USED TO MAKE...
Just some things I have learned reading through various posts on the forum.
Changing anything to get more power, is only going to cause problems. The transaxle on the Maverick as it comes from the factory is already to light duty to handle the power that the current 2.0l engine can produce. In...
If Its on a train you probably wont be able to track. Radio signals from all sources can not go through the metal around the vehicles while in transit. The rail cars being metal act like a Faraday cage.
You are saying that there was no bolt holding the tail light on. I know of a bridge in NY. that is for sale if you believe the above remarks. DeeZee is the after market producer of this product and should have known this BEFORE packaging their product.. Not Fords fault. DeeZee just need to...
I just went to parts store and bought some screws that are sold to attach license plates.
Comes with 4 screws with large round flat heads. The length is same as the one that holds tail lights. I put Cylinder up as the instructions from DeeZee shows. There is at least 3/16" clearance between...
Maverick Sport Light Utility Truck, it is, just kinda rolls off the tongue. I LIKE!!
One thing is is not is a Trucklette
Sport comming from the F150 Sport truck that was made years ago.
In my opinion Trucklette would be something LESS that a truck. After owing a Maverick for about 3 weeks, this is either a small sport truck or a compact pickup. This is a fully-fledged truck for its class. I don't see anyone calling the other brands of small trucks Trucklette.
Please...
I had my Mav parked next to a new Ranger in the parking lot at the dealer just a little wile ago. A lot of similar things as far as size goes. The most big thing I was looking at and comparing was the different in how HIGH the Ranger is. In my younger days I would have probably went with the...
I here ya. You might think of future needs also. throw a tonnue cover on a maverick use 2x lumber and you can make all sorts of storage compartments that are secure, as the Maverick tail gate locks, locking also a tonnue cover. That what I am doing. This will also let me change bed...
you may need to rethink the tub storage tub if you are going to use the Santa Cruz like a truck.. I always had to use a trailer to haul things like play sand, cement, straw, etc. my prior vehicle had such a tub. It was handy to keep the trailer hitch and tie downs for the trailer, but not...
I don't understand how Ford can sell a vehicle without posting crash/safety data, yet can't sell vehicle without EPA. approval????
I have not seen any safety info on any of the window stickers that I have seen posted.
Would like your input about buying a vehicle that may not pass safety standards.
