  1. Ugh, 3 weeks old EG Lariat needs a door adjustment

Not going to beat you up since that's already been covered. How about a picture of the door and let us know if an adjustment will fix it or if its more involved which means more $$.
  2. Newbie here just got a New 2025 XLT AWD 2.0 Eco Boost Maverick.

I have owned 4 Mavericks and all with the 2.0. Every one of them had a combined fuel mileage between 26-27 mpg. Highway driving was more and towing was less but I don't really check the mileage any more, when the needle reads low I just fill it up with 87 unless towing then I bump it up to premium.
  3. Do you get comments on the street about your Maverick?

I did get a lot of comments when I brought home my first one in Dec of 21 but not so much now.
  4. Weather Proofing bed?

Why don't you get your bed liner in and the trim on then check for further water leaks. I am inclined 'to agree with the tarp and door seal thought process. I wouldn't start spraying foam if its not needed or wanted.
  5. Had my new 2024 Maverick bed Line-X sprayed today!

My last 5 trucks were LineX and always happy. My 25 Mav came with the SIBL as std equip and looks good. I am pretty easy on my trucks so either one will do the job for me. I will also get a bed mat and tonneau cover.
  6. I joined the tonneau club today

I am not sure any tonneau will completely seal out water but most do a pretty good job.
  7. I joined the tonneau club today

I had the soft Gator SFX trifold on 2 Mavericks (great tonneau) but went with the Tyger soft roll up this time. Just put it on so Jury is still out.
  8. Dealer drove my new 2025 Hybrid Maverick 110 miles?

When I pickd up mine a couple weeks ago and was doing the paperwork the finance guy said it had 38 mines on it, I asked why 38 and he said I test drive it. I was not happy but let it go and the next day I talked to the sales manager. At 110 I am not sure what I might of said but agree walking...
  9. Can a 2024 Hybrid tow a heavier trailer for a short distance.

Since you asked I assume you have some reservations. A lot of rental equip use surge brakes so a 7 pin and brake controller not needed. Maybe ask a friend with a bigger truck. I have been towing for 50 years and still uncomfortable towing outside the envelope. Having said that I am sure...
  10. 2025 Maverick 2.0 is here -- my 4th in 4 years

    1. Found (added) the tach display 2. Without going into details I made enough selling 3 Mav's to almost cover the upgrade cost of the 25. Agree those silly money days are over.
  11. 2025 Maverick 2.0 is here -- my 4th in 4 years

Don't get the wrong idea, I am just an old retired working man but during and after the pandemic, chip shortage, Mav's long wait tines and dealers add ons people kept offering me more money than I paid for the last 3 Mavericks plus a 20 Ranger so whats a guy to do? :) A few answers 1. 2 cats...
  12. 2025 Maverick 2.0 is here -- my 4th in 4 years

Picked up my Lariat one week ago and sitting in the garage. Only drove it home so no real driving report other than I need more familiarity time on the tech stuff. I am an old geezer and old school so tech is not my strong suit. I know it only comes with a supplemental manual which is more...
  13. DIY Hail Cover - Pool Noodles

Is that a garage door I see in the background, looks like an easy fix. :D
  14. Has anyone ever regretted getting a lariat?

I never said I owned a hybrid, all 4 Mavericks were eco boosts. My 1st Lariat ordered on 6/1/21 was a FWD with 4k, well Ford never offered that option after they went into production so they comped me the AWD via private offer (I think it was $2200) and I paid 4% under invoice plus my military...
