I have a block of dense foam on the wall I park against. It was from a kayak roof rack set. So once the Mav settles against that I put on the parking brake and I'm set.
I have it about even with the Ford emblem.
I've noted a drop in mileage (or increase in L/100km) and its not even dropped below 0c yet. I mean... I understand why, but sure loved that warm weather fuel efficiency!!
I try to follow the braking and hybrid/electric coach bars... keep forgetting to put it in ECO though...
I've got 41MPG (5.8L/100km) since purchase.... currently @5,500km. 95% city driving.... I think you'd have to have ideal weather, terrain and traffic conditions to get those #'s. Its starting...
Maybe.?... if it didn't it didn't require me to to pony up a lot of dough. I like the 900km range, but in reality I'm more likely to keep it under 300km per trip (so long as I can charge it at the destination!!)
It has activated once for me.... the car ahead of me slammed on the brakes for a yellow to red light. It was pretty much at the same time I reacted, and there was a comfortable distance between us once stopped.
Still waiting on my hitch to be avail for install (was not included int factory order).
What did I do today? I loaded 9 6"x5/6" x 10' boards for a project. Easy peasy to load those into the bed (vs the old van I had).
I agree unfortunately. I have some nicks/scratches on the centre console. No idea what rubbed against it, I've been pretty gentle with the truck so far. I had a 20yo Toyota that didn't show as much...
I notice that one of the reasons is that the scratch nicks out at a totally different color...
Mine can be sitting there for hours, as soon as I open a door (even rear door) it starts clicking. I'm not sure exactly what its doing... but its doing something!
That makes sense. Will wait to see what appears... I usually keep my vehicles forever and I do like my Hybrid Mav! May just keep it and wait to get a Lightning in a few years
