Depends on how comfortable you are that no funny business happens while you are waiting for them to make the 1st move. Haven't you been waiting 51 months like that other guy? LOL. Seriously, go get your truck. You've been on here long enough to know what to do :D
What good exactly would it do you know any of that? I'm not trying to be a smartass, but seriously, there isn't a single thing you can do to affect the actual delivery date. There's been lots of people on here that drive themselves crazy wondering and worrying checking stuff like this daily or...
"living wage" is a recent creation and complete fallacy. The underlying premise of hiring is the wage of a job is tied to what the employer sees as value of the job to THEM, not what the worker can buy with the wages offered. I personally worked many low wage jobs as I worked my way up the...
Thanks 😺 Got more updates: yesterday afternoon when I got home I received the official email from Ford saying my truck was built and confirming ETA of Oct 20-26. Then I wake up this morning and find another Ford email from overnight telling me my Mav has shipped and still same ETA (y)
Things...
My understanding from my dealer as I waited for my Maverick order to get selected for production is allocations are given on a month-to-month basis. I sat at Priority 2 (top of list for Mavericks at my dealer) Unscheduled Clean with no constraints for 2 months while my dealer got NO allocations...
Mine was built 10/6 as well, and checked with my dealer today and their visibility report shows delivery ETA of Oct 20-26. I'll be happy if it turns into a nice Christmas present to myself
FYI, there is NO NEW RANGER for North America yet. It won't be revealed until probably 1st quarter 2023. The "2023" Rangers available are the same 10 year old 5G platform. I ordered a Maverick over the Ranger because I don't like the current model and wanted a COMPACT truck, not a Mid-Size.
is your build ECOboost & AWD? If you had FWD, you can't get the 4K tow. Ford mistakenly allowed the option to add 4k to FWD early on- then caught their mistake and dealers had to notify customers with it on existing FWD orders it needed to be removed or upgrade to ECOboost AWD. I'm guessing that...
My order date was 12-15-21. I got my VIN back in Mid-July, and also build date of 8/29 directly from my salesman. Ford slipped out my build week 3 times to eventually week of Oct 3rd- but they sent me an email the week before each time. I didn't get another email this time and waited for the 3rd...
Nope. Not that into it. Not gonna try to follow rail cars or anything else. It gets here when it gets here. Got too much other stuff going on to track every little detail on my car order and delivery.
My scheduled build week was 10/3. I did not receive email from Ford pushing it further out like 3 times before. Heard nothing Monday, Tuesday... so talked with my dealer yesterday and had him check Vehicle Visibility Report. He said it shows built and sent to body shop. No update on tracking...
My code is also RA36. I'm in 4-Corners, just north of Farmington. MY dealer is in Cortez. CO and told me the truck transports come to us from either ABQ or Farmington- can't remember. I think there are rail heads in both cities? My truck was built this week and sent to body shop. No ETA yet.
To me, common sense says there's no business case for another vehicle line between Maverick (Compact) and Ranger (Mid-size). With overwhelming demand for the Maverick and a brand new and much improved Ranger coming, this just doesn't make sense. Ford took a substantial gamble bringing back the...
if you have a lot of extra $ and time, buy it and re-sell. Otherwise, be happy with your new ride and let this play out with no obligation to do anything on your end.
that's not proof of anything-pudding or otherwise. The FACT is they can't get enough parts to build as many as they obviously would like to. Do some simple research from analysts on supply chains and manufacturing capacity, they are all pretty much aligned in their belief things won't get better...
