So the OP asks a question if there were any differences between the '25 and'26 LOBO, this being a LOBO sub forum, and you you come in hot bragging about crank HP in your none LOBO FX4...
First, who brags about crank HP? Second, if we wanted HP monsters, pretty sure most of us would be looking...
Any lobo produced after 6/26 can have the gpf, the window sticker or emissions sticker under the hood will indicate "50 state emissions" and will mention gpf.
It would not shock me one bit if every maverick has it from here on out.
I deliver groceries with mine (long story, workers comp). I fill up daily, so I'm in the same boat. Unless it's a really bad road, there isn't a huge difference in ride quality...
Am I the only one questioning whether the hood will close or not? Also, I just swapped out the paper oem filter for a K&N filter and haven't had any issues (2000 miles so far). I originally ordered the AFE but it didn't ship for over a week. Ordered the K&N and it shipped the next day, so I...
So I went down the rabbit hole as well...came out of the other side deciding to go the 18" wheel route with the continentals. One thing to note, the turbo fan wheels are 30lbs a piece. The wheels I would go with are 21.4lbs a piece...that alone will make a massive difference in breaking and...
Exactly not that, he already responded to that nonsense...
The issue is 100% the horrible OEM tires. Why they would be a concrete hard compound tire on a sport tuned street truck is beyond me. But it's what they do, cost vs performance. I haven't decided which tire I'll go with just yet, but...
Having put a little over 500 miles on it with the new springs, I can say there isn't a massive difference in ride quality on normal roads. Railroad crossings and really rough roads are much harsher, but it is a stiffer spring, so that's to be expected.
Handling however, has improved a lot. And...
Still dirty, NY can't make up it's mind on what season it wants to be. Dealer first called and said they wouldn't install them, 3" is too much and you won't be able to turn the wheel. I informed them it was 3"for a standard maverick, but just under 2" for a lobo since it's lowered from factory...
I didn't have the intentions of driving my Lobo this much when I first got it, but due to "life happens" I've ended up as a Spark Driver as my workers comp case gets handled. What that means? I deliver orders for Walmart, I set my own hours, yada yada yada...
What that means for the Lobo...
Thanks, now the struggle of fighting off the urge to mod the crap out of it right away lol. Ordered a cheap soft tonneau cover for now. I'm selling the tonneau and rack from my f150, and when that sells I'll get the set up I want, and maybe lower it a bit. But check in on me in about 3 years...
Picked this up Monday, traded my 15 F150 platinum. I don't tow anything, and 90% of the time it's just me in the truck, so this will be a nice change of pace.
