Every vehicle have owned with blind spot had the warning sound with the blinker on. The alarm or bell is there because you get the audio sound when cross traffic alert see a vehicle when you are backing up.
They come from the factory with high pressures to keep from flat spotting if they sit for a long time at the factory. It's the dealer's job to adjust them as part of the PDI process
Going active with the amp powering the front speakers and tweeters is best. Let the head unit power the rear speakers. The key does time alignment and cleans up the sound with the built in dsp. Plus it saves your door chimes if you want them.
I get it but every other vehicle I've driven with blind spot has that. Over time you get use to that. Adaptive cruise I would have paid extra for it if it would have been a option.
Nice truck. The only thing I dislike about mine is the blind spot detection doesn't have a audible bleep to warn you and no adaptive cruise on the XLT.
You can have a 23 come down the line right behind the last 22. Part changes are already setup on the lines. Some auto manufacturers make a big deal out of that new year model coming down the line.
