Co-Pilot 360 is important to me, use all of its features most of the time. Sometimes not Lane Keeping when lane markings are not there, or when a stretch of road has rough pavement in the normal tire tracks; otherwise I'd be constantly fighting it to move slightly out of the rough pavement.
Similar behavior it appears Andy. I'm not concerned, all seems OK, just puzzling why engine RPM might be affected after what seems to be totally unrelated updates? Crazy Mavericks keep us guessing & wondering. Cheers!
After having the trailer module update & parking brake Recalls done on my 25MY Lariet Hybrid, immediately afterwards on a cold morning start, the ICE revs at a higher RPM than before, noticeably higher. Wife noticed it immediately. After engine warms returns to normal RPM. Otherwise no change...
Smart move. No MPG gained by squeezing every ounce of fuel in tank. Only expensive emission system repairs might be result. I paid once dearly for that mistake, not again. 1st shutoff click I'm done.
I drive from Louisville KY area to Weslaco, TX (1300) miles each way, plus trips to son's house in NC (600) each way. Plus some other lengthy trips. I like the idea of total EV, but not practical for me. My Mav Hybrid is A-Ok for my needs.
I received the recall notice. Fix WAS completed at dealership in April. Don't understand "no fix yet"? I would expect all dealerships to be able to do it at same time? Perhaps not. Bottom line, fix is available. My dealer did that one and the park brake recall same day, one trip.
Very true, IF your driving environment is conducive to significant EV verses ICE. You're also correct ones driving style, attempting to achieve max MPG helps tremendously. Even the best hypermilers can't set records if freeway driving prevails. ICE operating at highway speeds will produce good...
I hope you're wrong, and the new EV truck is a shining success, in spite of the Ill fated Lightening. If successful, certainly it will impact the hybrid market, including Mav Hybrid. However, total EV is still a niche market, excluding most who drive great distances and don't trust charging...
Not to drift off topic, but "Hanger Queen" phrase I haven't heard since retiring from DOD (Navy). Lol! On topic, we live in Louisville area, my Grandson is an Industrial Engineer at the big Ford plant, but has periodically been tasked with designing layout & equipment placement at the Louisville...
I agree with you. EV is perfect for many commuters, especially when overnight charging at home is an option. Heavy duty trucks for those that need. I'm very happy with my 25MY Mav Hybrid, middle of the road. The 4K tow package is more than sufficient, great (not exceptional) fuel mileage since...
Agree, Evap systems are important especially today, with many more vehicles. Smelling gas fumes today from vintage carburetor cars, brings back memories when they all smelled like that.
IndyChill posted in #55 he experienced CEL & extremely slow fuel fill, after only topping off a click or so. I haven't investigated the Mav Evap system layout vs my old F-150. The problem won't go away on the F-150, but on Mav maybe it will, maybe requires new parts? The shame of it all IMO is...
I Always stop after 1st click, AFTER the same thing happened in my 2016 F-150. It took forever to fill truck, perhaps a quart at a time. Required removing truck bed, dropping fuel tank then replacing the stuck valve. Local shop repaired for $700+, dealer wanted several thousand. My lesson learned.
Yes indeed, Forscan has a Brake Fluid Service Procedure. No pumping pedal, the automated procedure does it using ABS pulsing. No FDRS expensive tool needed. There are several YouTube Videos demonstrating the Forscan Procedure, including a Post in MTC...
Your question, "You can extend the range of a EcoBoost or hybrid more than 100 miles. How do you do that with an EV?". You don't, which is why EV transportation is perfect for working commuters, with a garage & at home charging. My Granddaughter is single, commutes to/from hospital, never needs...
Ford Engineering Mode, been around a long time. I know my 2016 F-150 had same mode. Forscan not needed. Simple change from drivers seat.

I have exact same Mav, 25 Lariet Hybrid, so we're comparing apples to apples. I changed my RDU & PTU fluids last Oct @ 4100 miles. Reason, same as you, multiple posts of one or both underfilled. My experience was neither was noticeably underfilled, PTU not much metallic particles, RDU a bit...
