I think you should look to see what’s out there on a lot and buy what you want. Hopefully they will not gouge you. That’s what I did. My dealer screwed up my order, so I bought one this Tues off of a lot that someone had ordered but didn’t buy it.

BTW, Crossroads did no dealer markup over MSRP. They did add their protection plan that they add to everything...it's like windows tint some coating on the paint and a warrantee for stains inside the cabin. I had not choice but to accept that package because it was already installed.

I def don't think you're crazy. Going from the hybrid to a 2.0 eco you lose mpg but gain other things/options. If you have a 2.0 eco, you do have to consider if you need AWD and if you need the tow package. It really depends on what you want to do with your life or if your driving conditions...
