Just give yourself plenty of time. I think if you remove the transfer case, you will have to grind an unused threaded boss off for it to come out. I didn't remove it, but doing so saves a ton of headache and gives better access.
Is your corsair turbo upsated with a better compressor wheel?
What do you mean the bottom end is horrible? The factory programming does a short roll out, and most tuners keep that in place to save drivetrain components, but I've always thought our motors come alive pretty damn fast compared to most others!
Most any tuner, that's reputable, will be able to...
After that happened, I did tear into the brakes when I was putting new pads on. The drivers side pins had somehow backed out, causing the pads to bind. This may have been mostly to blame for the truck kicking out.
When I calculated the volume difference between the single piston and the 4...
What he is saying, is that I switched from the Mav rotors to the S60r rotors, and they look like they would line up much better and possibly not need the calipers milled down.
I'm pretty sure there have been a bunch of people doing the Mach E calipers. I haven't seen what all is needed for that...
Two hybrid owners, in the ecoboost section telling people to be worry worts, and that they are morally inferior because they want to make their vehicle their own....
There is NOTHING wrong with adding WMI to a Turbo engine! If you tow, you will be in boost, a lot. WMI lowers intake temps and...
Hey everyone, going to drop the price to $18k! Apparently not that many want the most proven Mav out there! Sadly I haven't gotten the windscreen fixed, I had an appointment set, but they tried to gouge me out of an additional $500, without notifying me first, so I backed out.
Anyway, $18k, and...
I have WMI, and only run it on my E30 tune that has added timing.
I use an old AEM progressive kit. I have it coming on at 7psi, and full spray at 16psi. Max boost on my setup is 23psi, on a 46mm Corsair turbo.
What questions do you have?
I am dropping the price again, looking to get $20k even.
All major fuel components have been replaced. In tank pump basket assembly including level sending unit was replaced with a 10,000 mile unit, as well as the injectors. The high pressure fuel pump was replaced with a brand new unit.
I'm bringing this thread back to life to share that I upgraded the stock rotors to the Volvo S60r rotors. They do, in fact, fit! They aren't perfectly centered, since I removed material from the mounting ears, but the function fine.
The problem with the factory rotors is that the pads overhang...
It took 56,000 miles, and over 1000 1/4 mile passes for my trans to finally give up the ghost. Over 200 of those passes were in the 12s. The trans is plenty strong. If you upgrade the turbo, or do all the bolt ons, just change the fluid frequently to help get rid of the excess clutch material...
The milling wasn't for the wheel interference, it was to center the rotor in the caliper. The caliper would have interfered with the BS wheels by roughly .040", and I think the Steelies cleared before the milling.
Thanks! Sorry I didn't click the link, I wasn't paying attention, lol.
@fstlan3 Hey, I misspoke when I said that I had looked at the Corsair 2 piston calipers. It was the Nautilus that I found those on. I'm looking now and I am not seeing a 2 piston caliper for the Corsair. Do you happen to have part numbers, or where you possibly thinking about the Nautilus as...
