  1. Worst Hybrid MPG to date? Video review/fill-up and more flex bed use

oh wow, that's very impressive! Hopefully I can get some of those numbers once it warms up here.
  2. Worst Hybrid MPG to date? Video review/fill-up and more flex bed use

I guess that's the cost to pay to have all four seasons of the year. I guess I could always bundle up and delete the fordpass app, but the luxury is worth the cost....
  3. Worst Hybrid MPG to date? Video review/fill-up and more flex bed use

Texas always seems to do it better... What percentage is your city/highway driving?
  4. Worst Hybrid MPG to date? Video review/fill-up and more flex bed use

I can handle it, seems like a simple comfort vs practicality compromise. Yeah, the cold definitely has an effect not only on the battery, but I believe on the Atkinson engine as well since it probably takes a longer amount of time to get to proper operating temp. 5-10mpg is quite significant, wow.
  5. Worst Hybrid MPG to date? Video review/fill-up and more flex bed use

This is my 2nd tank. 1st tank was 34.6MPG. I use remote start via fordpass app every morning, and then again before i head back home. I believe during this tank I was out shopping and I did start it a few more times than normal.
  6. Worst Hybrid MPG to date? Video review/fill-up and more flex bed use

So would my insurance company. Just kidding, clean record. I believe it might be due to 85% highway driving (mostly 70mph+) and then all the other factors like cold weather, remote start, quick trips.... I'm going to limit my use of remote start and try to stick to ~65mph and see what we can do...
  7. Worst Hybrid MPG to date? Video review/fill-up and more flex bed use

Yeah, around 40 miles of highway and 12 miles of town/city miles daily.
  8. Worst Hybrid MPG to date? Video review/fill-up and more flex bed use

In brief, I got 26.7MPG while the calculated computer was estimating 32.7MPG. Also, I picked up a nice toolbox and was able to use the tailgate tie downs to safely lower the toolbox without the help of a second person. The tailgate tie downs are a VERY cool feature.
  9. Finally averaged 21mpg

not much worse than my last fill up on my hybrid.... Will be uploading a video shortly.
  10. Video - First snow review in the Hybrid Maverick XLT FWD

Absolutely. These are the continentals. We don't get too much snow here compared to some of the places closer to the lakes and further north, so the typical road conditions for snow will be similar to this. For the big once a year snowstorm, I'm prepared with the Acura RDX SH-AWD with Blizzaks.
  11. Video - First snow review in the Hybrid Maverick XLT FWD

Yeah, a hybrid like this in warm climates is optimal!
  12. Ford Maverick Hybrid - FordPass Remote Start and Full Electric Mode Review

I guess this would be an overall hybrid quirk that isn't limited to just mavericks then. Still interesting to note though as this will probably be many owners' first hybrid vehicle.
  13. Ford Maverick Hybrid - FordPass Remote Start and Full Electric Mode Review

I am quite OCD about wearing my seat belt. I was just showing this weird turn signal silence quirk as I at no point in this video was on a public road or went above 10 mph.
  14. Ford Maverick Hybrid - FordPass Remote Start and Full Electric Mode Review

Takes about 15 seconds for FordPass to start the truck. Ill be doing another video of some snow tests as we will be getting some snow tonight here in southeast Pennsylvania. I'll also do a video on the speed/acceleration/highway practicality. It is actually quicker than expected.
  15. Quick Hybrid Review - Use of Flex Bed and Practicality as a delivery vehicle

Yeah, I bought mine from keller bros lititz, probably one of the first dealership to get the hybrids in, in Lancaster
  16. Quick Hybrid Review - Use of Flex Bed and Practicality as a delivery vehicle

I don't remember hesitating at all with the bumps. Even so, probably still smoother than our f-150
  17. Quick Hybrid Review - Use of Flex Bed and Practicality as a delivery vehicle

Absolutely. I'll try to take advantage of the fact it's one of the few hybrids on the road currently so I'll try to post to youtube as much as possible and try to show everything new/interesting I find.
