I love my truck, but I hate the OEM windshield! I drove my last truck 12 years without so much as a small ding on the windshield! This is the second chip in less than 6 months in my Maverick. The first one was a small chip directly in front of the driver's view, but it was small enough that they...
Your problem gentleman, is not marrying a woman who is just as bit by the Maverick Mod Bug as you are! I don't even want to know how much money I've spent on my Lariat since I bought it! I'm on a first name basis with my Amazon and UPS drivers too!
Sorry, not looking for a husband. 🤣
I don't carry a purse, but I have some of these head rest hooks and if I have a bag with me I'll reach behind the passenger seat and hang it on one of those hooks. You might also look at a glovebox hook. It clips over the glovebox door. Search "glovebox hook" on Amazon to find loads of them...
It has metal sides in the interior bolted in. Unfortunately into the plastic only. I wouldn't trust it to hold something valuable in the truck parked somewhere unattended for a long time, but it works for me for quick runs into the store when I'm travelling or keeping kiddos out of the console...
Last year, I installed the Ford Branded Console Vault. I have really liked having it, but the combination luck can be a little bit of pain to use. So, I bought a finger print access lock to replace it. There's an app to go with it to program the finger prints and you can open it with the app as...
I drove from Dallas/Fort Worth to St. Louis MO and back the week I bought my 24 Lariat Hybrid and it had less than 20 miles on it when I picked it up. I did 70-75 the whole way. I just avoided accelerating hard to pass and such. I had no issues and it's got 20k on it now.
I spend a lot of time on the road for my job, and I am SO happy I chose the Lariat model. I love the extras you get with it. I like the interior and the leather seats. Auto cruise is the best thing since sliced bread in my opinion. Yes, it was a bit more money, but I could have only got the base...
I figured out why mine wasn't working. I use the wireless wifi dongle for cord free use of Android Auto. I don't remember the brand, but it's not the Motorola model. It shows up on Bluetooth as Smartbox. My phone was connecting to for audio and calls. Its supposed to be only for audio. Cals go...
I came here to post about the same issue! It just started. Have rebooted my phone and the truck system. No luck. Everything works except answer and hang up. I can push the voice button and voice dial, but can't use the hang up button to end the call. It's bugging me!
I have a Galaxy S23 using...
Finally got to try my remote start with cold (for us) temperatures here in Texas the last few weeks. I usually leave mine on Auto settings. When we had 5 inches of snow and temps in the teens, my truck turned on the gas engine, the heated seats and steering wheel when I remote started it. A...
Mine will do that (not start up when the screen is locked) after Android Auto or the phone OS updates. I have to re-enable it occasionally. To do that you can go into your phone's settings, navigate to "Connected devices" or "Android Auto" settings, and ensure the option "Start Android Auto...
What kind of key fob cover did you try? I bought a custom leather cover for my Lariat, and it seems to keep me from accidentally pressing keys. I think it works better than some of the silicone covers I've seen because it's stiffer, and the buttons are recessed a bit because of the thickness of...
It is very simple to remove if you want to haul anything. You simply unlock the mount lock and lift up on the toolbox. I don't see why the mounting hardware left installed would prevent you from hauling plywood, but I haven't tried it.
Yeah, I thought about that when I ordered it, that's why I went with the right side. I was also worried about it covering up the cubby door on the right side, but it's pretty easy to get to when you swing out the tool box.
