If you call them, make sure you press extension #107 and speak with Tim. Tell him I said he would take good care of you. He will send you out a kit with your choices of up to 10 sample colors to pick from. It is very difficult to get an accurate depiction of the colors from the website. (Why...
That is because I did not install the headrests yet. I removed them even before I changed the seats because I never use the rear seats for passengers (only my dogs) and it gives a better view out the rearview mirror with them out. They can easily be reinstalled, but you do have to punch holes in...
Thanks man. Seems there’s a lot of negativity and jealousy in the reactions I’m getting. I’d say you’re probably better off with the XL seats and those cheesy vinyl ones they put in the lariat anyway.
That’s not at all true. The vinyl in the lariat is about as cheap and non-porous as you can get. I have always had leather seats since after my 65 Mustang. The vinyl on the backs of these leather seats I now have put the lariat to shame and is tuff to tell the difference from the leather on the...
Thanks. They feel great. That is exactly what my plan was. Just like the size of the Mav better. In hind sight, I may have been better off with the Ridgeline considering my affinity for the higher quality. These seats were a ton of work, but well worth it. Now I have better seats than the Ridgeline.
I would actually agree with that. In hindsight, I would take the XLT interior over these cheap seats they put in the lariat. That’s why I changed them. I still would go with leather above both though, especially the quality that I received with these new seats. Looks aside, they feel 100% better...
I did have the option of getting a color that was very close to the factory color, and not to beat a dead horse, but I just found it to be very cheap looking, mostly due to the lack of any grain and perforations. (The actual color is much richer brown and appealing than the pics indicate). When...
I totally get it. Some people are just into (or used to) cheap,, fake plastic-y stuff. I’m just totally spoiled with the look and feel of quality leather. Just can’t deal with that cheesy plastic. I knew I’d have to change them the second I sat in those seats.
I’m halfway through my seat replacement and wanted to post a few pics of the progress. I am thrilled with my new seats and how it is going so far. My replacement leather seats make the factory seats seam even cheaper than they are. The difference is night and day. I ordered them from...
The other day I was out, cruising in my eco-boost, and got the urge to see what would happen once it hit the governor limited top speed. So I floored it and immediately jumped up to about 90. Then I continued to push the pedal down until it was just over 100 when I saw the flashing lights of a...
Nothing I've ever seen supports higher octane fuel having any of those benefits IF it is the same quality as the lower octane. Higher octane fuel only burns slower. Ethanol burns even slower and that has proven to be a detriment to longevity.
Many studies have been done about this and ALL pretty much tell you that you are wasting your money if your vehicle doesn't require it. As another responder pointed out, as long as you are filling at a Top Tier (proven to be better fuel) rated station, you are getting the most for your money.
After my extensive Internet, search on how to do it, I saw quite a few of them that had already been removed but nobody explained how it was done. On redneck, garage, which shows a video of the seats, being recovered with leather ones, he mentions the center consul, but not how to get it off.
Does anybody know how to remove the center console cover on the maverick? I’ve taken the lid off by removing the back panel but now I don’t know how to get the cover off to replace the vinyl one with my new leather one. There are no screws or clips that I can see and when I try to pry it off it...
