Luckily I've not had that recall on my Maverick. But my wife had a similar recall on her car from a different manufacturer for seatbelt pretensioners. Had several greasy hand prints on the seats and carpet. People just don't care about other people's stuff.
Nope. Pulled into the steep driveway. Put it in park and the park break set itself. Both times I've been there in the Maverick it's done the same thing. Only place it's happened.
My local dealer does not have a onsite body shop. I have a friend who has a body shop. I'll swing by his place and see what he says. If it's rust then off to Ford dealer I will go.
I've had my Maverick since November 22. Just noticed this spot yesterday day. It caught my eye while walking past the truck. Is it a rust bubble?? Paint imperfection?? A glob of seam sealer from the inside edge of the bed? It feels firm, it's not soft to the touch.
Seen 0$ up to 800$. I paid 180$ at Granger. I know in some states it's regulated. In my state it is not. Was happy to pay the price at Granger, I thought what they charged was fair.
I bought one thru Granger. 100k/8yr. Being first model year kinda worried me. May not be needed but the deal seemed right. I got in on the 3K off MSRP so I figured why not. With the warranty I still saved a bundle.
