People using their OLM to gauge when to change the oil past 5K are really misunderstanding the meter. It is there to tell you IF you need to change it sooner than 5K only - has nothing to do with extending mileage past the 5K recommended oil changes - per the manual ;) Cheers

What kind of 3m Tape ? There are choices... I replace all the add-ons - automatically with this style before install - i believe a lot of the china stuff is actual butyl tape with a red liner to look like 3m - worth a shot as mine has never failed (though I do not have the spoiler)...
