I'm in Michigan, too, and my truck was built on 8/31. According to Ford, it is waiting only on shipping. XL Hybrid, with hitch as the only option.

Keep checking the order tracking page. Mine was supposed to be made late June, then August 8th, then the 25th, then the 22nd. I looked yesterday at the tracker and it says "in production" and I now have a window sticker. I ordered two months before you in October.

There has got to be some kind of cap plug out there to fit into an oil filter cutout hole. Something like this, but not sure if this would work very well.
