Thanks for all the feedback. I think I've had more truck-buying jitters than I ever had wedding jitters. Must be too much time to think about it.

Well I would be at about 38k with discount as the MSRP for the Tacoma that I would special order with all the specifications to my liking would be about 44k.

But if the price was the same you'd go with the Tacoma? That's my issue. I like the styling and size of the Maverick but I can get the dependability of the Tacoma for the same price with my discount.

Also, I really don't have much need for off-road but I do want 4 or all wheel drive. I ordered my Maverick with the fx4 because I want the black wheels. I plan on having this next vehicle for a long while. I want to get what I want. I'm just not sure If what I want is what I want. 😆

Where in Southern Indiana? I'm in Evansville. I ordered in early July and my truck shipped four weeks ago. The delivery ETA keeps getting pushed back.

Not sure how Ford does it, but my not Ford auto plant shuts down Dec 24- Jan 2. That being said it's not unheard of to run emergency production over shutdown. We ran one shift of production over summer shutdown the last two years trying to catch up from Covid down time. Unprecedented times.

The tracker showed "in production" and I was able to see my window sticker about a week before the "in production" date showed up. ETA for delivery is 10/21-10/27.

Mine was in production for 15 days.

Yep. Tracker still just shows "in production" 9/21 but has an estimated delivery date of 10/20. Dealer said it was built and and has an ETA 10/14-10/20. Lariat ecoboost

Can't wait to pull our pop-up and be able to pack our gear and my e-bike in the bed. It's such a hassle getting my bike folded up and crammed into our Cherokee that I usually just skip bringing it. I'm super excited to have more room and double our current towing capacity with the 4k package.

Just spoke to my dealer and he said it updated in his system today and I have an ETA of 10/14-10/20. Super exciting! Still no email or movement on the tracker on my end so I hope his information is right.

Tracker hasn't moved since my in production date of 9/21. Lariat Lux Ecoboost Fx4 4K. My dealer said it "has been built and is in the process of being shipped in the upcoming weeks." I was really hoping to get an official shipped email for my birthday today!

My Maverick has been stuck "In Production" for a week. Anyone else have this happen? I feel like a crazy person checking the tracker constantly.

Yep. I work assembly for a major auto manufacturer in Southern Indiana. We didn't run production four days last week and got word yesterday that we won't run production tomorrow due to parts shortages. Rumor is we'll have more down time next month. It's hitting everybody.
