My wife and I did some wheeling with a jeep group and found the easiest place to get stuck and the hardest to get out of was sand. If the maverick is good in sand you shouldn't have any problems unless you try climbing over boulders where you don't have enough clearance. The awd will shut down...
My 2016 F150 xlt was prewired for a sub so it was easy to connect an aftermarket sub to it and use forscan to activate the signal. Made a big difference so I am hoping the wiring is already installed in the maverick too.
