Great idea, I was just starting to think along these lines too since the Ford one is so expensive. Would it be possible to have the hex nut hole go all the way through the back so you can just press it in instead of trying to time the print just right as I usually fire these things off and come...
After I log in to my account, I choose the "Recalls" item in the "Service & Support" menu. First it brings up a screen wanting me to type in my VIN but if I let it sit there for a few seconds it figures out it already knows it and brings up the following:
I just finished my install, it was a little more complicated because I also have a Hyundai Homelink mirror that I installed so needed power for that too. While I was in there I tested all the fuses and this is what I found for mine ('25 Lariat Hybrid):
I ended up using micro3 tap on fuse 1/2...
Strange. I am just finishing up a dashcam install and have the ACC wire plugged into #1/2 with a micro3 tap, I also don't care about parking mode and hoped I didn't have to connect that wire but apparently I do for the camera to work. During my testing with a multimeter I verified that #1/2...
I ended up going for the Worksport AL4, looks like it has a better chance at keeping the water out but it is $$$. I'll post a review in a new thread after I get it.
Here is the link to the Grainger prices. It took a couple minutes to figure it out. Their website will ask you some questions about your Maverick and eventually you get to a spreadsheet looking thing and you pick your plan at the top (4 choices), then your deductible, then your number of miles...
Thanks, I hadn't even looked there, just assumed it was the same. Because of this I started looking at the Worksport AL4's, more money but look to be very high quality. Haven't seen anyone on this forum that has said they bought one, just a couple asking if anyone had.
Bringing this thread back to life...
Just started moving my Thinkware F200 from my old car to the Maverick. I also already had a Hyundai Homelink mirror in there using a micro2 tap in fuse 3. I've got the red wire from the camera going to the micro3 fuse 1/2 combo, just barely fits. Only...
This is the same mirror I just got and installed today before seeing this thread. Took a while to find it with all the threads about the cheap Kia one. I ended up using a micro2 fuse tap and wired it into fuse #3 and is works great. The mirror harness has 3 wires coming out of it, one with a...
I had it in my shopping cart at reconrecovery for a couple days while I was doing some more review reading. Decided to go for it an hour ago and it gave me an error and said price went up. Hadn't seen this thread, now it's around $150 more than what I just had in my cart. Grrr.
I'm picking mine up at Mullinax in Olympia today. I believe they've still got a white and a blue hybrid Lariat, 4k, BAP, sunroof in stock that just came in with mine a few days ago. No dealer fees, just tax & tags and employee discount offer (I think it was about $2600 below sticker).
