Single turbos have lags. Superchargers don't. Many engines have smaller twin turbos to reduce lag time. If you are talking a couple of seconds lag then there might be a computer issue.

I did the non-factory BAP on my Lariat for about half the price. Taillights/3rd brake light darkened, black AWD badge, black Lariat wheels, black grille bars, blacked out Ford logos, black interior features, black seats - no more brown interior. I didn't darken the trim around the headlights.
