Mine was built on 2 May and shipped right at the same time, according to the emails and tracker. Delivery is scheduled 7-11 June, but I have no idea if that's going to happen at this point.
Mine is on a train somewhere in North America, on its way to Maryland. Which dealer are you with? I'm up in Harford County and ordered through Plaza Ford.
Info is in my signature, but order 9/1 and currently on a train enroute to New Castle, Delaware, for transfer to the dealer. Scheduled delivery 6/7-6/11.
I was surprised at the lack of a green, though not sure I would have chosen that anyway. My wife used to drive a metallic dark green Jeep, and that was a really nice color though. However, I saw a Toyota Tacoma the other day in a dark nonmetallic green, and it looked really good -- not a matte...
Do you have a link for the mirror? I remember reading a thread about those but can't remember where it was. Since I have autodimming on my current mirror, I think I may wind up missing that feature. Thanks.
I can provide some perspective, having driven my Fusion hybrid for 6 years now with many highway miles. You're always going to lessen your MPG with the following:
-High speed
-AC (or windows open) or heater
-Extra weight
-Cruise control
-Mountains
I've referred to driving a hybrid as "active...
I guess it doesn't matter -- you won't receive permanent tags until you pay the taxes. Either the dealer does it, or the buyer does it directly. Learn something new every day! :)
I'm certain that the dealer is required to file your paperwork with your state of residence, so that people aren't trying to circumvent high state taxes. If they didn't, everyone would buy in Delaware. I actually bought a vehicle in Delaware about 6-7 years ago, and they sent everything to MD. I...
Eh, document everything on the initial paperwork when you pick up the vehicle. I just mark up the little silhouette with everything I see and have the attendant sign off on it. Then when you return the car, they inspect, and you sign. They can't add things later, or they'll have a very difficult...
My window sticker showed up last Wed with a date on the sticker of 4/27. The tracker still shows "in production" so I'm guessing it's waiting on extras like SIBL, etc. It's shipping by rail, but who knows when!
EDIT-Just received my "built" email last night. Delivery scheduled for 5-11 June...
Yes, it opens -- technically, nearly everything is a moonroof these days. A sunroof means that the moving part is metal and matches the rest of the roof. A moonroof is made of glass. I had to look that up some time ago because I've always wondered what the difference is! Some manufacturers will...
I do find it amusing that so many people say they regret not ordering the moonroof. I have a moonroof on my Fusion right now, something that I wanted for years. Now, after having one for the last six years, I specifically did NOT order it for my Maverick. I simply don't use it very often, and...
My truck's build week started yesterday, and if it's two months, that's the tail end of our upcoming vacation to France and Belgium (returning 30 Jun). I'll have to talk to my salesman about the timing.
From the terms that I read on the military rebate (not the veteran, I'm a drilling Reservist), it does combine with the Farm rebate, but I can't say if the veteran one is the same. I'm going to try to do it. If I'm out $60 (Maryland), then so be it.
No sh!t it's not a difficult concept, but neither is the concept of a "similarly equipped vehicle". The F-150 "starts" at $29,990, so I guess it's basically the same price as the Maverick, right?
The price ranges overlap, but the base models are $20k, $25k, and $30k. That's inherently more...
An equally equipped Ranger comes to nearly $48k, which I'd say is considerably more expensive than the FE Maverick. The base Mav is $20k while the base '22 Ranger (extended cab though) is $25k. That's a 25% price premium and even more if you compare the Crew Cab Ranger ($27k, I think).
Not so sure since the Ranger has the same silly limitation, and it's been that way since it debuted here. I'd probably have a Ranger right now if I could have push button start on the XLT. I didn't want to spend nearly $40k on the Ranger Lariat so that I could have the button. Now, I did order...
Definitely a shady dealer -- makes me thankful for mine where I've bought two previous vehicles.
The reason I'm commenting, however, is the website. That's awesome! :ROFLMAO:
