So what I'm seeing .. considering Ford had 100k orders/reservations... At least 30k aren't getting their order if production rates can't get bumped up.
I don't see any incentive for Dealers to offload their "Demo's". People are still going to be looking at them for the 23MY and if the dealer has a demo onsite it would probably be a benefit.
Tim Bartz said last night that there some "Manual" scheduling going on this week as opposed to the Auto... .this might be what it is. Specifically for Hybrids I believe. EB's were all going to be "automatic" scheduling.
This is not aimed at you Tim, but FORD. If that is happening, customers are getting screwed. That truck WOULD fulfill a customers order. I don't subscribe to the "exact configuration" idea. Dealer got an XLT lux 4k, customer waiting on a XLT 4k.... Shouldn't be a hard choice. That said, I...
I have at least 5 Mavericks on lots or in transit within 100 miles of me that are Blue Sticker Mavericks.
Zipcode 49525 if you would like to look yourself. I don't know what to say.
Being that it's a GREEN window sticker (customer order), the dealer may have jacked up the price so that he's not getting a bunch of phone calls on it. Trying to not think "bad" of the dealer... though that is getting harder and harder to do with all that I have seen. Every on the lot Maverick...
I have two ordered (Both EB AWD 4K). I was playing the "who can get it for me first" game... now thinking maybe I take both and then sell one. We'll see what the market is like when the second comes in. I can either buy it, or maybe I can make the dealer buy it off me. (Not even gonna mention...
I noticed no where in their presentation was the Maverick mentioned. Very interesting. Thinking this isn't the boon that Ford thought it was going to be. A little disturbing actually.
