I am waiting to hear this week after my salesman talks to his sales manager about allocations and where I sit in the que. He tells me since I am and EB, allocations is not an issue. Very disappointed that it will be 3 more weeks? until any new scheduling happens? Is that correct? I also am...
Agreed there is nothing like the Maverick so it is hard to compare, but if I look in my garage and one never gets there, the comparison is not relevant. Then it is time to change the scope of the the purchase.
Thinking about a 2023 Colorado which is in production now. Not exactly the same niche but a small 4x4 LT reasonably equipped for mid $30k is not a bad counter for mid-$30k Lariat that you can't get and may never get.
I emailed my salesman last week and asked the question finally about orders vs. allocations. No response yet, so today I will call and see if he even still works there. This is the second no response.
I don't know the purpose of the standard 45 day letter. It just reminds you of what you already know, which is you aren't getting a Maverick any time soon! They should reallocate that resource to getting more parts!
I would bet on it going back up. If your stated national energy policy is to abolish fossil fuels, and your secretary of energy is on a Youtube video dancing and singing that same sentiment, I can't imagine prices will stay down. Even now they are 80% higher than a couple years ago.
