  1. Tire recommendations

I have them at 35 which was better than the 41 they put in when they were installed. The difference and weight is more like 7 pounds per tire which I know is making a difference.
  2. Taking it easy

I put on Cooper Road and Trail, upsized from 225/60/R18 on Lariat to 235/65/R18. I like the look and the added height/side wall, but the MPG monitor shows mileage dropped to about 4-5 mpg. Used to get an average of about 29-30, and over the first 1,000 miles, it is averaging about 24.5 mpg. I...

  5. Raised White Letters on Tires?

In the next month or so will be replacing the OEM tires. Has anyone gone with RWL's and that can share pics? Would like to see what it would look like with the Lariat wheel.
  6. 4th Annual Maverick Meetup Video @ Salina, Kansas

Any rubbing or issues otherwise with this tire size?
  7. 🎉 GIVEAWAY TIME + NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH 🎉

I would use it with nothing to show I can hold down just as much air as a full sized truck.
  8. Giveaway: If you could add one feature to the Maverick, what would it be?

duh. Ok, I should have read all the other posts first so this was not an original thought.
  9. Giveaway: If you could add one feature to the Maverick, what would it be?

  10. Proposed federal yearly fee for Hybrids

But wait, I thought there was a proposal to raise the highest tax rate??
  11. Proposed federal yearly fee for Hybrids

If you add a lightning bolt to that it could be used to boost power for hybrid models!
  13. Farley on possibility of Maverick production moving to U.S. - when financial numbers are compelling & can retain affordability

You won't charge any M1 tank or similar sized vehicle in 5 minutes with the size of the battery that it would have. And the infrastructure (charging stations) would never be convenient in those environments. The world has moved in many directions. Moving on is not a compelling reason to tag...
  14. Farley on possibility of Maverick production moving to U.S. - when financial numbers are compelling & can retain affordability

That's the hypocrisy. Coal in any form is bad in the US. Elsewhere, not so much.
  15. Farley on possibility of Maverick production moving to U.S. - when financial numbers are compelling & can retain affordability

Nothing like an EV powered troop transport or tank and a 4 hour stop at the charging station on the way to combat. Is there another new energy military land equipment type we haven't heard of yet? Yes, sustainability, recycling, and carbon footprint are the key to military readiness.
  16. Farley on possibility of Maverick production moving to U.S. - when financial numbers are compelling & can retain affordability

Woried about billions, but okay for Ford to keep loosing billions on EV's. Exist because of government mandates on percent of EV sales.
  17. Farley on possibility of Maverick production moving to U.S. - when financial numbers are compelling & can retain affordability

The Sqawker probably has no idea what a Maverick is. It just part of the subscribed talking points.
  18. Farley on possibility of Maverick production moving to U.S. - when financial numbers are compelling & can retain affordability

Was never this much "uncertainty" on the past economy (8-9% inflation-it was transitory, would only last a few months) when vehicle prices were going through the roof. It was supply chain talk and chips we don't make, etc, etc. We just said oh well, we will accept that and ignore where the...
  19. Article, Ford loses its last cheap vehicle to tariffs

I remember the price of cars dropping or rolling back over time when they started assembling/manufacturing parts outside the US. The consumer saw 85% price drops...........NOT!. We did not see any of those savings so where did the savings go?
