That's odd. I have the Wingbar Evo on my XLT Tremor and have not heard anything I would characterize as "whistling" from 20-60+ mph.
I have the moonroof as well, and like all crossbars, there is a little more general wind rushing noise in the roof area especially at highway speed, but it is not...
Because it's in the XLT Luxury Package, my window sticker doesn't specifically break out the steering wheel, and there is no mention of it (it just says "Luxury Package").
The order guide in effect at the time of build says...
Soft Vinyl Wrapped Heated Steering Wheel
...and that's...
Yes the BAP has these taillights as well.
In the order guide for the Tremor, Ford calls them "black chrome taillamps" and simply "black: taillamps" for the BAP which is terribly inconsistent, and also does not do justice to the fact that in both you get the signature LED lighting - which...
I have an XLT Lux, so it does come with the heated, wrapped wheel as specified. It's not really leather though, more of a weird vinyl leatherette - but still nicer than molded plastic!
This was mentioned in passing on a couple other threads, but not called out specifically.
I really wanted the signature LED lighting front and back, but went XLT for other reasons. So even though Ford doesnāt call it out (because ⦠Ford) I am thrilled to confirm that XLT Tremors, along with XLT...
After taking delivery of my Tremor earlier this month, I travelled to Colorado and had the opportunity to drive a new 2023 Taco SR5 4x4 crew cab for a week, tackling a combination of mountain highway driving, basic dirt roads, and urban commuting.
My random thoughts:
The Tacoma sorely needs...
First tiny mod done.
If you havenāt seen this little piece yet, it really does add a bit of polish to a part of the dash you stare at very often. Edit - link to Amazon if you didn't see the thread in the Interior Mods forum.
Hello, fellow Gen-Xer? š¤£
My feeling exactly. The last thing I drove was a rental 530i and while it was an exceptionally well built, comfortable and refined vehicle, it never really made me grin or feel like it was worth every $.
Driving the Tremor out of the dealer, on the other hand, š
Iām an audio guy so that soundglass would matter to me.
I ordered the Ford divider because an online dealer had it up here for the equivalent of US$250 which just sounds a bit more palatable even though itās still spendy. I like that it integrates with the factory rails.
Thanks. I'm kinda-sorta-half-hoping-but-not-really for an excuse to put the Lariat windshield in. Good call on the floor mats, I'll pull them out to air them.
Six months was long enough - I salute the folks with hybrid orders, or just receiving their First Editions, and their next-level patience.
24 hour first impressions:
Driving refinement - pretty damn good for a cheap truck. There is some wind, road, and especially engine noise, but it's not too...
So my Tremor finally arrived and this was the first thing I did, because it was by far the easiest mod. I am not a fan of aftermarket trim in general, but have to say that this is the first one I've seen where the vehicle looks even more stock than it did before.
I find it worth the cost...
This being the main order forum, and not the one specifically for Canada...
Canadian order banks are open, and never closed. Demand - especially for ecos - is softer up here than was projected and our regional allocation currently exceeds orders. We're actually seeing ecoboost dealer stock...
Some good, spirited off-road driving here that comes to the same conclusion as the Car & Driver editorial - close to being a perfect little rally truck if it had a DSC kill switch and maybe some paddle shifters. They even manage a little bit of drifting in the snow.
They specifically call out...
