FORScan? Here’s where I get in trouble.
I’m used to a carb, manifold, block, pistons, valves, rods, bearings, shafts etc. etc. etc.
When computers and reprogramming get into the picture I know that it’s going to end up costing me a lot of $$$ if I play with it because I know nothing about it...
But I don’t want to remove the fender and probably other parts too. If I can access the area removing the wheel well cover them I should be able to solve the problem. I’ll know in a couple of days.
Can an average person with the correct tools be able to the swap-out? In other words, is it plug-and-play type or do you have to mess around identifying and connecting separate wires?
Then it’s not worth my money. I’m old school; first car was a 1969 Dodge Swinger. Used Turtle Wax then and still do (carnauba). Very easy now with machine: and quality and ease of application can’t be compared.
I also use a McGuire liquid detailer for quick shine after wash (if my back pain...
Not worth the $$$, time, and fact that it does not prevent scratches, dings/dents, rocks on highway…
a good was job with top quality product and good equipment, both hand and electric, does the best job.
