I ran into the same thing except it was called an ADM (additional dealer markup) and they can do this and get away with it or you can walk away and wait a few years for inventory to catch up with demand. Ford corporation has no real control in this matter and has spoken out against it on all...
It could have been, the fatal was in the Aveo and there was no visible blood on the airbag in the Maverick. I noticed the speedo was about 75 and the tach a little over 2K which would be about right. There does not appear to be any signs of extrication of the driver so it could have been. Sad in...
It appears that they just build them with what they have, I was shocked when my dealership called me and said my Maverick was in. It arrived without the spray in liner and the adaptive cruise control. It did however come with additional dealer markup that wasn't easily discerned until I was in...
No, the only thing I was given was a reciept for my 1K deposit. It was in finance that I saw the breakdown. I did see a piece of paper with the total but it wasn't clear and no where did it state the ADM.
That's another reason that Ford is looking to take sales away from dealerships and follow the Tesla sales model. I surprisingly picked up my 2023 Maverick Hybrid last week sans spray in bedliner and adaptive cruise control. I was happy I got lucky but my happiness dropped dramatically and I...
So far it's great but I have less than 100 miles and only local driving. Today my local Mustang club is doing a road trip and I will be on the highway for a good run. The 1"+ owner's manual has been a challenge to read but I am learning how to operate thing a little at a time.
I feel you, some members should not make that suggestion to leave or buy something else as it does nothing but exacerbate the issue. I am thrilled that I was lucky enough to be in that 35% to finally get my trucklet although I did get forced to pay ADM "additional dealer markup" which put a big...
In the early part of 2022 when I first found out about the Maveric Hybrid I went to try and order one but was unable to. When they opened up for orders in late 2022 I was able to order a hybrid Lariat Lux package and was met with constraints followed shortly thereafter with the news of only 35%...
Apparently, although the sprayed in bedliner must still have been a constraint as I amazingly picked up my Maverick from the dealership with no bedliner or bed kit from mentioned in last months letter from Ford. I took that letter to the dealership but mine must have already been built. Just be...
I hope to join you, I just got word that my Hybrid XLT LUX package has arrived and I pick it up tomorrow after it is dealer prepped, I am excited and feel like I hit the lottery.
I agree with the getting tired of waiting and I will never pay the ADM. Ford has tried to chastise dealers doing that and that is why they are changing their paradigm as the move into the pushed electric vehicle parameters.
Well, apparently I have to eat my previous statement as my dealership...
I know the feeling but will remain optimistic, my main reason for buying the Maverick is to go hybrid, I could have gotten an AWD XLT last year. I flipped a coin and it went my way so maybe I will be one of the lucky ones.
My dealer had me drop a grand down payment on my Lariat Lux Pkg Hybrid. Never heard a thing from them until I took the bed liner memo in. Told it's scheduled to be built in Jan but I won't hold my breath but remain hopeful.
Right there with you, no hybrid, no new truck.
I have never tried to order a new vehicle before trying for a Maverick and it has been a bit disappointing. Communication has been lacking but I will remain hopeful that I am in the 35 percentile. I hope someday the world will be normal again without constraints and shortages.
I had an interesting call from my Salesperson at the dealership this morning. He said that my order is being built and is to be shipped late January/early February. We will see but I don't want to get my hopes up until I get official word from Ford.
I went to my dealership to order a Maverick and all I got was a receipt saying "Thanks for the Grand"
I seem to get way more information from our Club. I did go to the dealership and request the code be changed to include the bed kit to go with the sprayed in liner and figure my chances are less...
Good GIF, I am expecting just that but I remain hopeful that I have almost a 50/50 chance of getting my hybrid, going to the dealer with the letter regarding the spray in liner as I did pay extra for that so I might as well sign up for the bed organizer. Good Luck to all of us and...
Not yet but I hear it is in the works. Maybe if full electrics (which at this time are not truly feasible) were not the priority then maybe we would see more hybrids being made as they use so much less raw materials.
