  1. where do the put the drive shaft?

...won't even need them for your area! There is room above the exhaust actually if it was AWD. Hard to picture - but those are in threads to see it. You may mean the resonator - GPF wasn't going on the hybrid from the reports - maybe some states? And I don't think of Texas as being one of them...
  2. 🐺🏎️ 2026 Maverick Lobo Yearlong Review: A Real Truck and a Street Truck? (Motortrend)

they did say ~$47K out the door so more like MSRP of ~$43K. My MSRP was $35,170 after employee pricing. I have a job 2 Lobo- no GPF,
  3. Drive it like you Stole it.

I’m sure the Ford Performance Exhaust would work fine. It is made for the the MY 2025 & 2026 that have GPF’s. Almost all (all?) aftermarket catbacks mount well behind the CAT/GPF. Can’t imagine they would throw a code - but may be illegal in CA. I think the GPF is just another reason to do...
  4. Drive it like you Stole it.

Sad to say I have the GPF on my truck. Some of the exhausts on the market won’t work with it according to the manufacturers. They say it will throw a code. I contacted a few manufacturers of GPF deletes just like the O2 deletes on the market but no plans on making one for the Mav yet. I’m...
  5. What Wouldn't You Be Willing To Do With or To Your Maverick?

I would never do any engine mods between the throttle body and the CAT/GPF. Could be a warranty issue… However, Catbacks & CAI’s are fair game. My catback is installed and the S&B CAI will soon be available. In production & soon to launch (Summer):
  6. Blackstone oil analysis report: 10,580-Mile AMSOIL Signature Series UOA on a 2025 Maverick 2.0 EcoBoost MPC (Non-GPF)

Amsoil is a great product. I have used the oil and their filters in everything I own for over 25 years with ZERO issues. I change the oil every year or 15k miles whichever comes first, numerous vehicles with well over 100k miles over the years. Thanks for the data. Brian
  7. Blackstone oil analysis report: 10,580-Mile AMSOIL Signature Series UOA on a 2025 Maverick 2.0 EcoBoost MPC (Non-GPF)

...and a little background on this truck. This is one of the early 2025 Maverick 2.0 EcoBoost MPC engines produced before Ford started adding the GPF. The truck currently has 32,092 miles, so in my opinion the engine is still relatively new and just finishing its break-in period. Oil history...
  8. 2025 2.0 EcoBoost Oil Filter

250 hp 280 ft lb of torque with GPF- per Ford website
  9. What is going on with my exhaust?

Yes, the catalytic converter is downstream of the turbo. GPF, if equipped, is downstream of the cat. Since a turbo extracts heat from the exhaust, the EB 2.0L will typically run cooler at the tailpipe than the naturally aspirated engine like the 2.5L Atkinson. Either way - after an extended...
  10. High idle on brand new 2025 maverick with 2.0 ecoboost engine.

Yes - July 25. Mine was manufactured in June. It does not have the GPF.
  11. 2026 Lariat Ecoboost Rear Drone Noise

I wouldn't worry about driving at 70mph during "break in" at that speed you should be just under 2K rpms. You might try cycling through the different drive modes at 70 to see how the sound changes, if it doesn't then it's not an exhaust system issue.

...instead that I had to add a resonator to make it drivable. You might already know that Magnaflow is known for its low key rumble. I’m going to consider replacing my still too loud & drony aftermarket setup with the new Magnaflow for the refreshed EB. They offer a system for with or without GPF:
  13. 2026 Lariat Ecoboost Rear Drone Noise

No GPF. I knew they were coming and checked underneath before purchase. Although I think they are a good idea for improving air quality for breathing humans - so I acted a bit self serving in my choice. Did not want the so called extra complexity & maintenance.

do you have a GPF on you Ecoboost?
  15. 2026 Lariat Ecoboost Rear Drone Noise

I didn't even know what that was until right now, but after searching photos it appears I do not.
  16. 2026 Lariat Ecoboost Rear Drone Noise

Maverick77, the OP, does not have a GPF. Like me he checked before purchase. When I cut my exhaust (right about where the mystery hanger is) to install a catback - I was surprised that the long piece of pipe leading to the catalytic converter was unsupported. Luckily it had a flexible mesh...

Do both of Your Mavericks have the GPF?
  18. 2026 Lariat Ecoboost Rear Drone Noise

You might be onto something they probably just use that same pipe with and without the GPF and maybe the ones with the GPF have the hangar body mount.
  19. 2026 Lariat Ecoboost Rear Drone Noise

Maybe Mavericks with the heavy GPF will need additional support? Still need to add a new hanger connection to the unibody? Those without the GPF but have the “phantom” hanger on the pipe only will be “collectible”:)
  20. 2026 Lariat Ecoboost Rear Drone Noise

Sorry - didn’t realize I was preaching to the choir:) My EB’s first 80 miles were driven by a “fetcher” too. Probably in Lobo Mode trying to drift it! Oh well, what can you do. Hopefully your drone is something simple like tires that will quiet down after a bit of wear.
