I just wanted to quickly introduce myself as a new member. I have found some really helpful information on this site and I look forward to contributing. I have just placed an order for a new 2024 Maverick Lariat Hybrid after trying to source/locate one for the past year. I am looking forward to contributing to this site and I will update my order/build status with the forum soon.

Looking forward to diving deeper into this site and I know how addicting this can be. Please don't be shy to say hi to a new member.

Welcome Dave. Used to go to Rochester several times a year as a young man (30 years ago)... When ABB was bigger there and I was supporting clients who used their systems. Had a good music scene and lots of decent tap rooms... even a few hotels had built-in brewing setups..

What color did you select? Did you select the black appearance package? Sunroof?

Thanks for your note. I ordered black as the exterior color and I didn't go crazy on the options since the 2024 Maverick Lariat now comes standard with the Luxury pkg and Ford 360 pkg. So, no black appearance pkg or sunroof option. I test drove an XLT with a sunroof and I wasn't impressed with the sliding sun shade. Basically, a stripped Lariat if that makes any sense

I hope they don't disown you for buying a Ford Maverick. Of course seeing GM doesn't have anything to compare, I hope you'll be off the hook. I truly hope you thoroughly enjoy the Ford Maverick.

Hey Guys,

Just a quick update for everyone. I ordered the truck the first week of March and it was delivered to my dealership the first week of June (almost exactly 12 weeks time start to finish). I picked it up on Tuesday of this week and the truck looks great and I have been very impressed with the fuel economy.

Just a quick question, there was no owner's manual in the glove box. Can anyone confirm that their 2024 Maverick shipped without an owner's manual for me please?

Fantastic!

They normally come with owners manuals. When I bought mine for the dealer (slightly used), they handed me the owners manual with the keys. Decent chance they might have yours sitting on a desk at the dealership.

Hey Guys,

I haven't been as active on this forum as I have on other truck forums (married now with an infant at home), but I wanted to update my original introduction post that I have upgraded my 2024 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid to a new 2026 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid AWD loaded with even more options than my 2024. I'll try to get some pictures of my 2026 on here shortly.

The new 2026 was optioned with the power sliding rear window (used to be standard on the 2024), sunroof option, 4K tow package, and was the Azure Gray exterior color (like a blue/gray).

Most of you guys probably know this, but I lost the wireless charging (didn't realize until driving it home) and my wireless keypad from my 2024 would not integrate on the 2026 (changed frequencies). Let me know if anyone has any interest in the keypad (I have the original card with the master key code) and I also have the OEM soft close tailgate option available.

The new screen and parking sensors on the 2026 have been nice, and the 19" wheels look pretty sharp. Anyway, I am looking forward to reading more about our new trucks.

welcome aboard. Sometimes the small shop tools and garage equipment make a bigger difference than the expensive parts do. I’ve been replacing old appliances and random equipment around the house lately, so I ended up checking a bunch of sharkninja reviews while comparing reliability. It’s funny how people obsess over car builds but then ignore the stuff they use every day in the garage or kitchen. A good vacuum alone saves so much frustration when you’re constantly cleaning up after projects.
