Hi All,
Just picked up my 2024 Azure Grey Maverick XLT Tremor a few weeks ago and I have been loving it. In my quest to add bed lights I found it hard to find reliable ideas of measurements of the FlexBed cubby and blank, so I am going to do my best to provide ball parks.
FlexBed Cubby:
Full Width: ~9.375”
Full Height: ~9.25”
Door Width: ~7.25”
Door Height: ~7.875”
Below Latch: <~5.5” safely
Cubby Depth At Shelf: <~6.0”
Shelf Width At Front: <~6.0”
Shelf Width At Back: <~5.5”
FlexBed Blank Panel:
Full Width: ~9.375”
Full Height: ~9.5”
Inlay/Opening Width: <~7.0”
Inlay/Opening Height: <~7.25”
The actual opening behind the panel I have not measured but I generally keep my projects with a good amount of wiggle room.
I am dreaming up using a marine switch panel with USB charger mounted to the door of a cubby I install on the driver side. The marine panel would be one like this https://a.co/d/03cGyp1T . Then maybe installing a 400W inverter inside the cubby on the shelf and maybe a fused relay box in the bottom portion of the cubby if it will fit (using switched power from the switch panel as signal to the relay box so the heavy lifting is all done in the relay box even though we are <400W total. Seems like less of a fire hazard and all switches fused.). I would also keep a master switch at the FlexBed 12V blank that would turn everything off. For bed lights I intend on using https://a.co/d/05CTOqUp with brackets I 3D print. The bed is covered so a splash of water on whatever I pick won’t hurt, I also intend on using heat shrink and silicone sealant wherever relevant.
Hopefully this helps someone with their project! I know I will probably be referring back to this.
