A few weeks ago I bought a new-to-me 2023 Lariat Hybrid FWD (non-luxury) with <35k miles. Coming from a go-kart-sized Prius C, I'm loving driving this thing. My first truck, a good size for an old man moving up. My use case is moving boxes and furniture, nothing like the workloads that many of y'all are carrying! -Matt

Thanks, folks. Appreciate the kind thoughts. I paid around $30k for the ride, which I thought was fair. It rides great and I'm in process of adding on (mud flaps, bed rails, etc.).

I bought the Maverick with a fixed chip in the windshield. It is found in the lower middle section and, two weeks later, I got another one above it that I need to repair.

That's OK. Here in Northern Virginia a lot of stones are kicked on the highways I use. My thought is to add a bug blocking hood deflector to hopefully deflect some stones, then ultimately eat the windshield replacement cost and add a ceramic cover to it

As for Alaska: going on a cruise to Alaska for by birthday this Summer. Had relatives in the Fairbanks area, but suspect they've all moved south by now.

I'm having a blast catching up, reading the older posts in this forum. Learned a lot already and appreciate y'all's willingness to share.

congrats! cool vehicle. PC game problems can drive a person crazy sometimes. One tiny issue suddenly becomes hours of troubleshooting and reinstalling things. I had something similar happen while adjusting Simple Life https://simple-life.pissedconsumer.com/review.html settings on an old laptop and somehow everything stopped working at once. Technology is amazing when it works and exhausting when it doesn’t. Hopefully someone here finds a proper fix soon. Older games still deserve to run properly.
