The Light Blue looks nearly identical to an OG Ford color called "Futura Blue" that was available for years on Galaxies, on the Fairmont, and even on mid-eighties Escorts. It's a traditional color for Ford, that looks good on the Maverick, especially with the 17" steelies. Members of our family...

Desert Sand is a great color! I nearly went with the Space White because it looked sort of like silver or light grey. I wanted Silver - I've owned a number of silver cars - but, alas, Ford dropped Silver too. So I decided to go wild and crazy with Orange Fury. 🤪
