Took the truck back to the shop that sold us the truck cover and they took the tie downs off and took care of it for me.
Leonards did not respond to my issue with what they did, silence.
If anyone is thinking about Leonard’s doing their spray lining, I highly recommend finding someone else...
That’s what they said but if true they could have at least 1. disclosed that and 2. Tape around it like painters do.
Now we are screwed in the event if those tie downs need to be removed for whatever reason.

I know the dashcam wiring has nothing to do with the airbag, it’s the pulling out of the A pillar that’s covering the airbag and the possibility of triggering the airbag when removing it. That’s what I’m asking.

I see some videos of people installing dash cams before running the cables and saying they disconnected the battery and some don’t. Any advice on what should do? Is it really necessary to disable it? Can you disable the airbag temporarily without disconnecting the battery?
I’m going to need two. One always on and one only on when the key is turned.
