Put the gloss black door handles on and the Mabett side markers on. Now I gotta figure out a phone mount. My first Amazon try was a bust
I just bought a 2024 XLT FX4 and bought a "phone holder" on Amazon. First a cube that was supposed to fit in the space on the dash that had a bunch of crossbars on it to attach the phone holder to. Didn't work.

I have this exact cubby gadget. I had to use double sided tape to secure it but it works fine now.

Bought some blue vinyl, its not an exact match but I think it complements the Azure Grey. My hood has been redone at least 7 times....

A couple of things I ran into was temperature, and adhesive related. I bought my Mav in the spring when temps were not really warm enough to cure overnight. Make sure you either apply in a heated environment or when the temps are warm enough. Apply the adhesive very liberally. My first attempt didn't take and I had to reapply.

Thanks. My garage is heated, so I was planning on letting it sit for at least 3 days after installation in 70-75 degree heat.

My garage is not heated and the adhesive never really took. I also did not put enough adhesive on so within days it was coming off in places. I reapplied and put on much more adhesive...much more than the first time. Luckily the old adhesive never really stuck so pealing it off was easy. Hasnt moved now at all.

As in much more adhesive... How much more than Air Design's instructions?

I completely used up all the included tube of adhesive between both attempts. I would imagine using almost an entire tube for a correct adhesion.
