I had a cat named Buddy and a Springer dog named Bridget. They were best buds. They would cuddle and sleep together just like yours. I miss those two.

What seat cover did you buy? I'm thinking of going with a full width hammock style for the back seat. That way Buttercup won't have to worry about being slid off the seat to the floor if some ID-10-T hits the brakes at the last moment in front of us.

That's exactly what I did, it has actually helped with her anxiety on drives as well. I picked this one up cheap on Amazon and it's actually super good quality. Also it would match the interior quite nice if you have an XLT with the orange accents.

Given Buttercup's cancer and that my truck isn't currently expected until sometime between late March & early May ... I'm going to hold off on ordering it, but ... I've got it tucked away for ordering if BC is still with me when the truck is ready to come home.

I bought the hammock and seat belts for the dogs when I had the F150., if not I will buy a smaller one, it's $30.

I'm hoping I can use the Hammock in the Maverick as well.

When in the truck I have the harnesses on the dogs, the hammock has an opening so the seatbelt snaps into the factory holder and the other end snaps on the collar. It works really well, my pups can move around a bit but not end up on the windshield if there is a wreck.

Yes it fits perfect, a little long on the sides but just adds more coverage. It's not the prettiest thing, but it's super easy to unhook and store under the seats if I ever need humans back there instead.

Also the one I linked comes with 2 seatbelts that hook into the car's slots.

Phenomanal breed. Ours tore her CCL in May and it was the most miserable recovery for both of us. If it was dog behavior she was restricted from doing it. Now I pick her up in and out of the car because i'm not confident in the repair and don't like her jumping.
