If you want to find an inspiration for the new Ford Maverick front end, look for the “EVEREST”.
Try searching for “Ford Australian SUV Diesel”.

Do you think Ford would make a Diesel Maverick for the US? Do you think Ford will release the Ranger-based Everest in the US even without the Diesel?

I like the Everest but it has always been too close to the Explorer in everything except offroad. Its really as if they are the same vehicle in two alternate universes. It also acts as a more civilized Bronco. It just doesnt have a market un the US unless the Explorer downsizes and goes EV like the euro spec, and the Bronco gets a pickup version and only runs a CC with a bed or the 2 door. Then the Everest has a niche to fill and would stomp out the 4runner and Pathfinder sales. GM and Mopar dont really have anything in that segment, not sure if thats good or bad planning.

I will say the Everest does have similar design to the Maverick front end, I just wish they would have kept the crossbar. Im so glad mine came in gold!

Love the front end. I’m curious if those fog lights are factory units. I wonder if the parts can be installed on a US Maverick. Oh, all kinds of questions racing through my mind…

This is what I hoped the Bronco would be way back when. It would be a good Grand Cherokee competitor currently .

I bet it does, look at that line between the front fender and the bumper. Same as your Maverick. I would search for an exploded parts diagram and compare bolt hole locations.

Now that's a balanced sharp looking front end design. Too bad they didn't go with that on the Maverick 2025. WIth that front end I would trade up to the AWD Hybrid Maverick without question.
