We absolutely loved our 2023 Ford Lariat Maverick that we did it again! Our newest acquisition…a 2024 Ford Lariat Maverick with the blackout package. And this time, we added the brush guard (on both) because we are in deer country.

I just ordered my XL (pretty much stock), and I am excited! Dealer says that it should take 3 to 6 months :(

Our 2023 took 14 months and the 2024 only 10 months. We were told the length of time has to do with the parts necessary to build the Lariat. So, maybe 3-6 months is not so bad. ☺

I am wondering if salesman was promising me something he could not deliver?

I wouldn’t think so. From what I understand, the Mavericks are manufactured in Mexico. Throw in China (where some of the electronics no doubt come from) and we have l-o-n-g lead times. Based on what we and others in our area have experienced, the higher the trim level (XL, XLT, Lariat), the more difficulty there is to get all the electronics. Of course, we live in a rural area in Texas, so our deliveries may take longer than say, a dealer in a metropolitan area. 🤷‍♀️
